"I made a order on the phone, they said come in minutes and it will be ready. Phoned again to make sure they had the order right, they said yes and they were rude because I rang again. We went to pick it up...and they said they didn’t get the order. I made them aware I rang twice and I waited half an hour. He apologised and blamed his staff member. I walked out disgusted how can you run a business like this? Totally unprofessional, shambolic, unreliable, pathetic service, I don’t usually go here because the chips are disgusting but I was in the area and it was convenient. We waited for a order they never had no intention of delivering on, your never going to be successful with this lame attitude. Do yourself a favour and avoid disappointment by eating elsewhere."

"Always enjoy Thali Ho the thalis are really good value and you get a good choice. Portions are generous I never manage to finish it but my friends seem to manage! Friendly service and great to have it as a local. Its's casual and has a nice buzz. Definitely will be going back!"

"We started dining at this restaurant after the first lockdown and I can no longer highly recommend it for its food and service. The staff is always friendly and happy to accommodate us, whether we choose to dine in, take away, or have it delivered. The prices are fair for the large portions of high-quality food they serve. Deliveries are always on time, or even earlier than expected. Occasionally, they have even given us a complimentary bottle of wine or beer, which is a nice gesture. Overall, this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Cheltenham!"

"I absolutely love their pizza and peri chicken with rice, it's my favorite! The food is always fresh and super tasty. I would definitely recommend it. "we had a lunch from this wonderful new restaurant. our mealtimes had high quality ingredients prepared with skills. the portions were generous and there was a suitable ratio of meat to carbs, which meant that the chef had not tried to approve by placing on the meat. the most interesting thing about our meal was that it was quite fragrant: when we opened the box, the fragrant rosewater-infused biryani filled our dining room (think the maximum strength Turkish joy). in that I still have his taste in my mouth. the only disadvantage is that the parking situation can make it a bit difficult to collect a meal."

"Really bland food, didn’t even have chilli sauce to accompany poppadoms the place has ‘Chilli’ in the title, charged us for poppadoms and three ‘sauces’ dry salad, mint yogurt and shop bought mango chutney totalling alone before we knew they didn’t have anything spicy to go with them. Other food was just weird, chicken tikka masala was bright pink orange with coconut in it?! and tasted like a dessert it was so sweet. Seemed like it was taken out of a jar or something, had consistency of a paste but was like eating sweet, thick, pink paint. No spicing in anything, lamb bhuna was just like eating lightly fried onions with a bit of meat, that’s it. Asked for the bill times before finally getting it even though restaurant wasn’t even half full. Was thinking they were taking their time to provide us with some minor treat as I’d mentioned it was a birthday. But no, nothing, they just took their time for no reason. Really bad food"

"The pub is very clean and organized, with a relaxed atmosphere. The beer garden out back is beautiful, especially at sunset. They are following all COVID-19 guidelines. I came with my family and it was welcoming to everyone. I enjoyed the food, especially since they offer a variety of vegetarian options. "I ordered a takeaway through deliveroo, and when it didn’t arrive (because the driver couldn’t find my address and “left” it somewhere else) I went to the Masti and they swiftly replaced my delivery and gave me a seat at a table and a drink whilst I waited. This was a busy Saturday night. Their food is ALWAYS delicious, and I’ve eaten in the restaurant and had take away and it’s always great quality. The manager was very polite, understanding and courteous. I will continue to use the Masti for their wonderful food: I will however order straight from them and avoid deliveroo from now on."

"I have tried many curry houses over the years. Indioz tick All the boxes. The front of house Shaheed and waitress Lauren make us all feel welcome and nothing is too much effort. THey also hosted our company Christmas meal which was fiftieth, tasty and fantastic value of money. "I would like to start off my review with praise for the staff and the decor of the establishment. I absolutely loved the unique decoration of the inside of the restaurant, from the strobes of multicoloured lights, the glass mosaics and drawings and the Afghan Styled (as I had been informed) seating in the lower end of the restaurant, which was not made for our family style but we are very sure is much appreciated by those who do use it. The staff was very helpful for my visit, I would like to thank the waiters and the hosts who were always alert for their kind hospitality, as well as the chef 's for their nice food. in my most humble opinion, the food was very good, though could be improved. "Excellent meal, as always. Portions are generous and it always arrives freshly cooked. We visit this Bangladeshi restaurant quite frequently and of the view that the food is hard to beat. Until recently the restaurant didn’t hold a liquor licence and guests could take along their own alcohol, which was always a real plus for keeping the costs down. They didn’t even charge a corkage fee which was always a bit of a surprise. Our visit the other night was a shock to learn that, under a new owner, alcohol has now to be purchased from the menu (although regular guests are told they have some grace time to learn of this). In my opinion this is a mistake and will certainly impact upon our decision to attend as frequently as we did do. The absence of customers (we were the only ones in there) on what should be a busy night might support our view. Such a shame to lose this rare benefit at what is otherwise an excellent culinary experience. If it had to change, introduce a corkage fee, rather than abolish ‘bring your own alcohol’ you may live to regret it!"

"We had to change our reservation from pre-theatre to after theatre, which was accomodated without any issues. We did not realise just how long we had spent dining but were not rushed at all by the staff either who stayed after closing time. Our gluten free vegetarian dietary requirements were catered for not only from the menu but also on recommendation from the chef preparing a special dish of stuffed pepper. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will return if ever in the Colchester area again. They are also part of the Meerkat system which is the only reason that we found this restaurant and only goes to show that you can choose to go somewhere in a different town based on that network of choices as well.
