"The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious! I only tried it because someone insisted that their biryani was the best they had ever had, and they were right. The exterior may be unassuming and the decor questionable, but the service and food more than make up for it. I tried the mixed grill and the lamb biryani, both of which were amazing. If you enjoy this type of cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try!"

"We had dinner in the restaurant. I had a churrasco steak and my wife had a spaghetti dish with shrimp. Both meals were flavorful and cooked properly. No other guests in the restaurant, but we were early and the hotel didn't seem very busy the week we were there. Pleasant food."

"I chose Everest Tandoori to organise a private buffet for a small get together of 40 people. Starting from the beginning, booking process was very smooth and easy. Staff were very approachable and friendly. On the day, food served was authentic Nepali and on time. The staff (especially Maya didi) there went out of their way to actually play the role of a host on our behalf and helped us all including guests feel like home. They also allowed us to run some of our private rituals as well. Overall, my experience has been excellent and price was exceptionally good value for money."

"I have been a fan of this restaurant for over a decade since I first discovered it. Located in the heart of London, it is easy to find and close to our hotel. The area feels safe even at night, with many pubs and people around. The restaurant has a street-level dining area for those with mobility issues, as well as a smaller back room and a downstairs area for larger groups. The food is top-notch and reasonably priced for central London. The staff have always been friendly and accommodating, which is why we always choose to dine here when in London for the night."

"We had a lovely evening with my wife and daughters at this restaurant. It had been a while since our last visit. The staff was friendly and followed Covid safety measures. They were knowledgeable and took great care of us. The food was perfect, with fresh and flavorful spices in all our curries, served at a comfortable pace. The prices were reasonable and they also had a liquor license. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"My partner and I usually collect food from here, but last night we had our first delivery and the food was beautiful, as always! Every meal is tasty with big portions full of meat! "This restaurant is truly underrated. The staff is outstanding and very friendly. The constant flow of young adults coming in and out hints at the delicious food being served. Despite the lack of customers dining in, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal each time I visited and always ended up with a large takeout container to bring home. Some of the curry dishes even taste better the next morning for breakfast. It's a bring your own (alcohol) and bring your own (cash) establishment, as they do not have a card machine. While there may be some questionable practices with their books, the food coming out of the kitchen is nothing short of delicious."

"Passing by noticed that they were offering unlimited roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and gravy with the roast dinners and seeing as I was hungry I thought I’d pop in for a roast and a pint. Service was swift and the girl behind the bar was very friendly. Ordered a turkey roast and I was not disappointed. Had a few of the unlimited Yorkies and potatoes after as per the sign on the window and there was no moaning/grumbling like some places tend to do. Would recommend and will have again when in the area."

"The restaurant is clean and modern. Went there with 2 other people on 15/12. We shared 6 poppodoms, 2 portions of rice, 3 mains, and 2 Naan bread and also had 2 beers each. We came ame out the wrong side of £96 (including a tip). After the meal I still felt hungry and I am not a big eater. The naan bread were not as big as I remember them it has been a while since I last ate out and the portions of rice were about half of what I would expect. Rice is really cheap so I think it really is stupid of the management to serve such small portions of it. The 3 mains we had were of good quality. I am unlikely to return."

"I have visited many Indian restaurants, but I have often been disappointed by the lack of variety in their dishes. They are either overly spicy or bland, and often drenched in oil and artificial coloring. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this particular restaurant. Despite its unassuming appearance, the food was well-seasoned, made with high quality meat, and overall excellent. I was very impressed and will definitely return. Although I have had some average experiences in the past, my most recent visit was once again excellent. Every restaurant has its off days, but for the price, this place offers the best value for takeout in York. While Mirchiz on Fishergate may offer slightly higher quality dining, it is also more expensive. For a local Indian restaurant, this place surpasses its competition."

He was so rude to the girl serving us and to this lady who was walking aided by her assistant and a stick. She was trying to go to the restroom and cause woodlands Marylebone doesn't have a wheelchair access toilet she had to climb a few stairs! With much difficulty due to her condition she was trying to do this and her assistant and grandchild were helping.
