"I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the staff at the Basingstoke store. The individual who claims to be the manager was extremely rude to us and made us wait for over 1 hour and 20 minutes. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction and refusing to pay, he continued to yell at us over the phone. He stated that there was no one else to escalate our concerns to besides him. His service and demeanor were unacceptable, and as a result, we will not be patronizing Herbies again. His behavior is tarnishing the reputation of your company."

"This place is nice with pleasant surroundings. The staff are welcoming. The food is average and the service is incredibly slow. Regrettably, my experience with the steak sandwich proved to be a big disappointment. The bread was heavily laden with gravy and onion, with a mere morsel of steak, which rendered it into a state of sogginess the structure of the sandwich failed and disintegrated into an unwieldy mess. Would I come back? Probably not."

"I dont know about the fake 5 star reviews on here. But as you can see by the rest it 's a horrendous mistake. Yyyyyyep you guessed it, 3 hour wait. Food was like cold casting resin that looked better in the bin. Wasn 't surprised at all to find the other reviews. Multiple people phoned to enquire and were given multiple different excuses including that a driver had been in a car accident. I reckon I 've got more chance of pulling my mixed chicken out my backend than I 've got of a refund tbh... The local brothels will be seeing an awful lot more dodgey kebabs than usual. I 'd give you the whole never again barks but I hate thievery more than anything in the world so I 'll just leave it at Fuk off."

"Booked to come here to celebrate my Birthday with family. Have to admit, I haven't visited here since before 2019, my expectations were exceeded. They were most accommodating, due to the fact that some of my family members sadly became ill, so could not attend, however after informing Fiume, they were most gracious adjusted our table dinning requirements accordingly. The restaurant was very busy, however, that certainly didn't detract from the excellent attentive service that we received. From our starters of Crespella Ai Funghi E Salsiccia, to our mains of whole Seabass Flambe Di Gamberi, our food was superb, along with the very attentive waitress that looked after our table for our food drinks. It was quite a night, due to the fact that there must have been at least 6 other Birthday parties celebrating there, which was unusual to experience so many, . . just shows what a popular Italian Restaurant this really is. Thank You to all the staff chefs Fiume Italian Bar Restaurant, for making my Birthday celebrations an evening to remember. We'll definitely be back very soon."

"We happened upon this little shop whilst perusing Harrogate and brought a selection of Cheeses to take to family that evening. The two ladies working were fantastic in helping us choose a lovely Brie with Truffle, Smoked Cheddar and a strong Blue. With a little taster of each we were soon agreed and the three cheeses were nicely wrapped up in paper.Our hosts loved them that evening and being local themselves have plans to pop in and see the array on offer for themselves."

"We were there for a birthday. Had a reservation. Great table. Nice server. We had fries and crab bon bons as a starter and then waited mins for chilled crab. The server came by and asked us if we wanted a dessert menu. We told him we never got our meal...still took about mins to get our meal after all of this and there was nothing done to remedy the mishap. for two people for lunch with very little food is a bit extreme."

"The restaurant refused to honor the Set menu reservation, claiming it was not valid. We ended up paying £99 for a starter, risotto, broccoli, two desserts, and 2 small glasses of red wine. They had no bread and no coffee available, as they said their machine was broken. We were the only customers in the empty restaurant, and it was clear why. It was a complete waste of money."

"we were very excited to try this new place that seemed so inviting from the road, they sat us immediately and we were one of only a few parties there. but because we were some of the only people in the restaurant, we got our first round of drinks not up to halfway through our main course (after a full round of appetizers) and we were not even offered water in the meantime and I could not get anyone the attention to ask for it. because we have so few people in the restaurant, we were clearly ignored for the great Christmas party that we could hear in the ground floor room that had sent tablet by drinks to them before our three cocktails arrived after minutes. When they finally arrived, the drinks were very good, but they don't wait. the food was usually delicious, the bisque caabe appetizer and croquettes were great, and for the pornstar we all had the plate of the day, a slowly baked bark dish that was delicious. everything was good again until dessert when the cream robe we were served, oil was pooled into the floor and seemed to separate, I tried to eat it, but it was really not edible. Overall, it was a very disappointing night, and it should be a graduation party that I mentioned in our reservation and was not mentioned or recognized at all. we will probably not return."

"This used to be a great place but after the other day, I can only put it down to 2 things. The health inspector was in putting the staff off or the staff completely screwed up both pizzas. I ordered a hot one and I’ve no idea what I got. No chillis just olives and mushrooms and bits of what I think was spicy beef. My wife’s was not what she ordered either. At least the onion rings were correct. The pizza base also seemed chewy in the sense it was rubbery. Not good."

"We purchase regularly from here via JustEat and have done since the beginning of Lockdown. We haven’t been to the cafe itself so cannot comment on anything in relation to the actual setting but are yet to be disappointed! Food always arrives within the estimated...timescale and hot and cold food is separated well. Portions are always more than adequate and food quality is superb. A personal favourite in our house is the Macaroni Cheese and the Mexican chicken panini. My only comment would be that anytime we have ordered the 1 person buffet it always comes with either Cheese or Cheese and Ham this is absolutely fine and I understand it is pot luck but a little more variety would be nice or an option to perhaps pay a little extra to specify sandwich filling (just a suggestion)."

"We were a group of 12 and this was one of the few places that could accommodate us and reserved our table as well. Staff were very polite, professional, well mannered and not pushy in trying to get us to order more than we needed. Food was made quickly, presented well, was hot and tasted delicious too. The lighting is a bit dim, but sufficient for the atmosphere I believe. Staff were also considerate and ensured all sauces, plates, cutlery etc were on the table before the food and they got a few extra plates for us as we had said that we would be sharing some of the dishes. Overall really impressed. Also, the toilet was clean and well maintained. I really loved the table as it looked like it was made from the truck of a tree! Keep up the good work."

"we thought we would avoid the Saturday evening rush and order around 16:10, so we didn't have to wait forever until it comes. this was the first time we used 'best kebab' and will be the last. uber eats said it would be delivered 16:50-17:10... the seemed a bit overly for the £20 order (1 x kebab, 1 x burger, 1 x cheesy chips and 1 x mozerella sticks.) but it is what it is. it will be 17:10 and we will wait. it is until 17:30 and we are waiting. 17:35 And we clink, they say they have a problem with their rides, and there will be 10 minutes, no apologies, nothing. eating came around 17:45, no apologies, nothing. eating was in the average. my partner “Special” burger (bef mit donnerfleisch) had 4 pieces donner on a lukewarm but crispy burger. my kebab was also lukewarm and I had never had so chewy meat in my life. the chips that were in the box were divided into two layers, the lower half closest to the box was like a red musk (obvily at any place it was hot and simply shaped into one with the condensation) and the upper side were hard as nails and cold. Mozerella sticks needed to heat as they were fixed and the Cheesy chips were only lukewarm with a mass of cold, solid cheese up. if they can not provide a delivery grater to ensure that their warm food is delivered immediately (we live about 6 minutes away) then they do not offer any delivery. do not pack their food ready and leave it easy until someone appears to deliver it, otherwise they will their customers inedible sh!t. revolver with our usual choice of spire pizzas. can not recommend this enough, along with express kebab house, which are just around the corner of this “business”. I will never use “Best Kebab” again. do not make the same mistake."

"Awesome time here always the place to go for cocktails in Leeds. Their new food menu is amazing and ridiculously cheap for Leeds!!! I 'd come here just for the food. But the Zombie cocktail is a must have in Leeds. And Conny the bartender who took my order allowed me to have the usually wasted extra cocktail. This is Yorkshire waste should not happen. Best pub in Leeds!"
