"Told to sit outdoors as restaurant was having refurb which we hadn't been told . I had phoned and booked a few days earlier. It was cold and late September but they had patio heaters on. During the meal the heaters went off and the food was tepid when it arrived. The power had been switched off for a while during work indoors. My 60th birthday with a large group including my one year old granddaughter. No apology given . Staff was busy on her phone . Shame I've been going for years and it's a 45 drive. Won't be going back."

"Shopping TripOn a shopping day trip to Leeds we headed for Bella Italia for lunch. We were greeted and seated by a very friendly waitress and ordered from the lunchtime menu which was on the tables.We both enjoyed the lasagne which was hot and tasty and well cooked and a generous portion.Tables cleared promptly when vacated, new customers welcomed warmly on arrival. "First visit I thought I had booked another restaurant that I had been to years ago so was a bit shocked when I arrived and a bit apprehensive. Well we were delighted with our new find. I had asked about parking as I know the area is mainly permits, they provided a permit and told us were we could park. We brought a birthday cake which they kindly placed in the fridge. The actual restaurant is compact but it was busy on a Wednesday night people sitting both inside and outside and it had a real little vibe about it, buzzing you thought you were maybe in New York definitely not in Colindale. Menu is Antipasti, Pasta Pizza so for a couple of our older guests we were a bit worried that may not find something to suit their not so adventurous pallets but after a good view of the menu we were able to meet their needs and Spaccanapoli even rejigged a dish to suit their needs. The food was fab, fresh, flavoursome, authentic and plenty of it so much so we brought some home. We had a couple of cocktails, beers wine and we all had starters, mains and a couple of desserts and it worked out approx £30 per head so very reasonable. We shall definitely be revising again Thank you Spaccanapoli for a wonderful evening"

"this place is a new gem on the fardale road. I wanted to visit one of them and get the chance last night. I wasn't disappointed. the pizza quality was up there with the best wood-fired pizzas that I have with franco manca, pizza pilgrims and the other places that are currently luked and for a much cheaper price too. the basic was divine, the menu is a good length and the staff very attentive and friendly. I really hope this place works well. the Brixton end of the fardale road has a small resurrection of late, with some really big business opening up and this place leads the charge of my opinion. you will not be disappointed."

"we visited here for lunch on Sunday. at the arrival we were the only customers in the restaurant. we ordered a garlic bread to start with cheese and two pizzas. within about 10 minutes the garlic bread arrived, but it had no cheese. we mentioned this to the waiter who apologized, but we have starved so it somehow ate. about 10 minutes after the completion we were asked they are ready for the net now, to which of course we said we expected them to arrive immediately well, it was about another 20 minutes until the pizzas arrived at our table! that said they were very good, with a slight sharp teig. tiramisu for dessert was also excellent."

"We recently hosted a 50th birthday celebration for over 30 guests at this Italian restaurant, which happens to be my husband's favorite. The staff were extremely organized and there were no errors with the meals. They did a great job preparing, cooking, and serving a 3-course meal for everyone. The food was delicious and arrived hot and fresh. The service was excellent and the staff were willing to accommodate any requests. We will definitely return to Gaetano's for special occasions in the future. The only regret we have is not taking any photos, but we highly recommend dining there yourself as you will not be disappointed. We are even considering booking a table for Christmas. Thank you to Carlo, his wife, and son for a wonderful experience. We will be back soon. As for parking, there is a car park near BBC Wiltshire Radio which is affordable after 6pm."
