"5 guys, easy I thought I 've had 30 at once during my carrier as a WWE wrestler... What can I say about 5 guys other than don 't bother! I found myself visiting my ancestoral home of Swansea Prison and I ended up meandering my way up Wind Street when I stubbed my toe and screamed you smarmy git! on the front door of Five Guys in Swansea. The interior decor was akin to that of the Woolworths lunch counter of 1960s fame. Charming. Quirky. With a seasoning of segregation and racism. I will never understand the American way of thinking. They are truly a bizzare lot. Cheese, guns and mom 'n pop type diners (an image and ideology that belongs more in the history books than front and center stage in Swansea). I was greeted warmly by the server, he said can I take your order sir? And I simply replied No! Before skipping out of the restaurant . I realised after an hour of telling people I was The King of Swansea and behold my mighty throne room! While pointing at the public toilets in the Quadrant, I was hungry and decided I knew what I wanted. I ordered my food and boy oh boy, this was NOT a meal befitting my status as King LeCox. I love hotdogs. But this was a bland, tasteless, boring as all hell hot dog. I have picked my nose and eaten more flavourful things than that hotdog. It boggles the mind how an allegedly good food chain can mess up something so basic. Five Guys 2/5 (the 2 is because at least the food was warm) Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2"

"The location is really good as it is opposite Ealing Broadway station so a good, easy venue to find. It is also well signed from the outside and the colours (red white) are distinct. It is not somewhere I would return to too often. Not because of service simply because it isn 't really the kinda place I would frequent, nor does it offer the kind of food i would normally choose. As it is heavy on the carbs! Was taken there and it felt a bit of a mash up between Wendy 's, an American dinner, and a motorway service station! (I obviously haven 't bought into the marketing). The service at the point of ordering was patient yet basic. It was ok as the team were polite and pleasant but you could see that this was fast fast food, getting through to the next person. Understandable, but as a customer paying a good amount more service is required! The tables and decor feeels a bit tacky and 70 's. Basic high use and rather similar in feel to what the losers would get on The Apprentice! So yes I think a bit more investment in comfort should be there however the business probably wants to encourage people to eat go rather than eat chill so it probably works. The food wasn 't quite to my taste as it was all rather salty for my palate however others with me loved it, so it is a matter of taste. The decor around the walls left something to be desired. Mainly from GQ magazine so was maybe a little sexist in that the magazine is for men! I think it might be good for loads of mates to go, and/or families. Give it a try maybe i am not the target audience. Not for me but certainly has a place on the high street."

"Went for Sunday lunch. My wife and I both have mobility problems and informed them of this at the time of booking. They said that they would make allowance for this. When we arrived we had to go up 3 steps to get to our seat. We were able to do this but they did not ask if we could do this. We were seated and waiting for someone to come take our order when we noticed a sign saying that orders must be placed at the bar. I made my way to the bar and had to negotiate around tables then down the 3 steps, then I had to pass by people in a narrow hall who were carrying their drinks. This was difficult as I cannot walk in a straight line and am unsteady on my feet. When I ordered I asked the barman to bring my drinks to the table which he did willingly. I asked for a lamb and beef and asked whether they would be able to put some of each on our plates. They said we would have to do this ourselves as the chef was too busy. This is also the reason they were not serving food outside. It was a lovely day and they were turning business away as they were too busy to serve food at the outdoor tables. The food was delicious (apart from the mashed potato). The meat was so tender and tasty. When I went to pay I tried to explain to the barman about the difficulties and lack of awareness but he couldn’t spare me a second as he was walking away from me rather than listen. Poor customer service especially to disabled customers. Nobody came to check whether we were enjoying our meal or whether we would like another drink. I also noticed that they cleared tables ready for the next guests and put a high chair in place for a child. They are good at preparing for children but not disabled customers."
