Since then, I knew I liked this particular delicate thing. too midday in the week this place is absolutely heaving. the employees are super efficient, they must be! that was not long. there is a series of options for lunch and an breakfast menu that contains an excellent full English. "I visited Coffee Warehouse today for a light lunch, Coffee was hot and delicious service quick and friendly also had a Roasted Vegetable Panini my friend had Poached Egg on toast and a green tea. "We have lived in Dunmow for 25 years and have always visited this pub through its various ownerships. We had not been for a while, until after I had a life saving major heart operation last year and this was the first place we chose to go for breakfast when I came out of hospital. We have continued to go since then on a regular basis and it never fails to satisfy. We have always been served by Lorraine since the first day we went and she has been fantastic. Last weekend was a year since I had the operation and we chose to go back for a small family meal to celebrate the success of the day. Well what can I say, my wife had other ideas and with the help of Lorraine she organised a surprise gathering of family and friends in a cordoned off part of the marquee with buffet. What made it even more special was that they don't normally do a buffet on a Sunday as it is normally roast dinner only. After Lorraine explained to her manager the importance of the day she was more than happy to help make the day happen. For this I am really grateful, and despite not getting the steak dinner I thought I was having it was so much better. Thank you to everyone involved as I know the organisation for this on a day you would not normally do it would have been a challenge. We will continue to go for breakfast whenever we can and hope that Lorraine is always there."

"We stopped by this restaurant on Saturday evening and tried the black and steak flat bread, both of which were absolutely delicious. I had a glass of wine and my husband had a couple of beers, all of which were fantastic. The owners were lovely and very dog-friendly, which we really appreciated. They even treated our dog with so much love, which was a wonderful touch. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in Scarborough."

"After we had spent a day in southend on the sea and then in the lake meadow country park, we were randomly looking for a place to eat and came over the duke of york pub. I must say that my wife and I were not disappointed. at the arrival were both tania and kristy very friendly and showed us on our table. in the evening we did not have to get up from our table, as both tania and kristy picked up our order on the table for drinks and eat and bought them over, even if the place was busy and there were only two of them. Tuesday is 2 for 1 burgernacht and eating was very good and about the right size. the burgers were moist and well seasoned. even the locals who were in the pub were very friendly and had a few laughing with them. overall we had a very nice evening and would like to thank kristy and tania for it. will certainly come back, although its one hour drive from where I live."

"I recently visited a fantastic local coffee shop that has been recently renovated and looks very stylish! The dining area has a modern and contemporary feel, with clearly displayed vegan options and freshly made sandwiches and paninis available. I decided to try the Christmas white flour bap with vegan sausages, stuffing, and cranberry sauce, and it was delicious and filling. The sausages in the bap were of good quality and they were generous with their portions. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that vegan butter was used and taking precautions to prevent cross-contamination by adding extra foil on the counter. I was very impressed by their attention to detail and can't wait to return!"
