"OK I get that restaurants take bookings , and walk buy guests can cause a problem but this tiny PE was at best 35% full. On entering the door the Maitre 'D ignored us for a couple of minutes while shuffling menus around and then having been asked the obvious 'have you made a reservation ' question we got a lot of deep sighs and well I suppose I can get you in but you MUST be out within the hour. Fair enough, but then to wait 10 mins to be asked if we were ready to order from a menu that is hardly expansive..... That said the food arrived within five minutes of that so had either been par cooked or the pasta just warmed in a microwave. Even more surprising when asking for this bill this took two attempts and a further 10 minutes to process.Advice- Don 't bother visiting unless you have booked, oh and incidentally when did PE become the new Maccy D 's with crayons drawing pads and paper hats for a restaurant full of screaming kids?"

"A nice place with good food and decent atmosphere. Weekends are busy and would likely require a reservation. The app has lots of freebies which is well worth doing and you can hook up the apps together by 'checking in ' on the same table to use multiple vouchers between the guests. Cleanliness could be a little better with greasy smudges on the bench and mirror, and slight water marks on the glass. However it 's more of an improvement point rather than it 's dirty. Would visit again."

"Modern premises, decent waiting staff who know their job, food fine. Marble tables!! But at lunchtime it was extremely noisy, mostly, but not all, kids. I realise (a) that kids want to make a lot of noise, and (b) it's not the restaurant's fault. However I will choose somewhere to eat that is calm, and it isn't here. Pity really. Two people, two courses, bottle of wine, two coffees £80.60. The salade niçoise is excellent."

"Kids birthday party for our 5 year old the staff were fantastic and all the kids had a great time. Special thanks to Eleanor, Hannah and Merhan the pizza chef who were excellent in serving us and also entertaining the kids. The kids enjoyed tossing dough and making their own pizza which they then ate along with dough balls to start and ice cream dessert. We would recommend having a kids party here and would do so again in the future."

"I go to a lot of Pizza Express branches, and I am not just a foodie but a pizza connoisseur! This branch is okay, but as others have said it's a bit gloomy and the atmosphere could be better. More importantly, the pizza. The quality is pretty much standard, but there is always some variance between the branches, and this one doesn't do quite as well as Derby on the Calabrese or other Romana pizzas. I think the chefs are not quite en-par with the better branches here in rottingham."

"We just wanted to have a break from cooking and eating in. We decided to pop to Pizza Express with my wife and daughter for dinner. We traded Tesco points, which is great value for money at 3 times of the point value. The vouchers are only for food and we noticed that drink prices went up a lot since the last time, large glass of wine over £9, more than the cost of a bottle in the shops! The restaurant was quite busy with good atmosphere. It was clean and tidy. The staff were very nice, friendly and efficient. The calamari and spicy pizza balls as starters were really good. I ordered classic sloppy guiseppe but it had too much tomatoe sauce for my taste. I tried the unusual sorbets with olive oil and orange as well, which was quite nice. Overall very good spontaneous pizza night!"

"We booked in advance and received a good welcome on arrival. We were able to order drinks, starters, and mains at the same time, and our food was served fresh and hot. We both had original dough balls, and I had a classic La Reine and my husband had a classic American Hot. I had a passion fruit lemonade to drink and my husband had a large Peroni. We each had the Honeycomb Cream Slice for dessert. The service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was clean, and there was a good atmosphere."

"I have been to all the Pizza Expresses in Surrey and whilst this doesn't quite beat the Farnham branch for their dough this place is an absolutely jem. I have no idea why some people stick their noses up at pizza express the food here was now after two times of eating... definitely above average. The waitress was attentive... friendly.. accommodating.. And even sterilized my babies dummy for me when it fell on the floor. We had the antipasti sharing platter and Romana American hot with extra roquito chillies and it was to die for. My little girl loves the cheesy bread that comes with the sharing platter. All in all I am convinced this place is underrated ... It's warm.. inviting.. clean... And just generally a nice place to be. We already love pizza express but nevertheless I can guarantee we will be back to this Worcester park branch again.. It's better than Surbiton, Esher and Kingston if you ask me."

"Unfortunately no very good evening we brought our son to haslemere pizzaexpress, but we got a terrible service. we order starters that have never come and a pizza was not what we ordered and that is waiting after 45 minutes on Thursday night. it seems that the cook wants to do what they want, and the writers have no idea what was going on. after 45 the writer asked where our appetizers then brought the main course instead of the wrong pizza. absolutely ridiculous not again. I make better pizza home than her and she just ground why I landed in the restaurant because my son insisted. but now even he realized 11 years how trerblethe service was."

"We arrived at the restaurant and waited for 10 minutes without being acknowledged, while the waitress stood next to us on her phone. A man, who turned out to be another waiter or manager, pushed my boyfriend out of the way to put menus on the table. When we asked if there was a table available, he said no and walked away. When he returned, we asked how long the wait would be, and he shrugged and said maybe 15 to 30 minutes. Five minutes later, he gestured towards a table covered in half empty drinks and used napkins, telling us to sit there. We decided to leave and went to KFC instead. I have never experienced anything like it before. I would suggest avoiding this place at all costs."

"I haven’t been to Pizza Express for sometime and my nephew wanted to visit for his 13th birthday. Oh dear! Talk about deterioration! My starter was Garlic King Prawns- well that was disappointing, the ‘King’ element of the prawns was clearly lost in translation as the stewed prawns and tomatoes really failed miserably. The description read much better than the product (Garlic King Prawns £7.75 Juicy king prawns, garlic butter, tomatoes, roasted peppers and chilli flakes with fresh tomatoes, red onion and parsley, served with Dough Balls). The ‘King’ prawns came from a kingdom of mini prawns! The pizzas appeared to have become smaller and slightly thicker and the flavour was very disappointing (I had Sloppy Giuseppe £13.45 and extra garlic). My family had their own choices and none of us came away feeling we had had something good. I live in the south of France and although I swear by the fact that cuisine is far superior in the UK that France nowadays, I’m not sure I can attribute that to Pizza in the UK. I think we will have to find a little independent pizza restaurant next time and hopefully we will come away feeling that we enjoyed our food. Perhaps I should also mention that my meal has had the effect of sending me to the toilet five times since last night!!"

"Wouldn't go here again! Definitely not the best pizza express in the chain. A whole section of the back of the restaurant was so dark I could barely read my menu. Apparently the light bulbs were out...so not sure why you were placing people there. It was freezing cold with a massive draft coming from the windows. Food was just ok, bland pizza with no real taste to it and grand chicken caeser salad was not grand at all..one tiny tiny pot of sauce on the side and dry cold chicken (it would be nice to have hot or warm chicken at least! The toilets were absolutely disgusting. Only two cubicles and they looked like a festival loo with mess everywhere. Made you think why did I eat out."

"16 September 2017 We were invited to a party on the 16 September where the mobile pizzeria van turned up to feed the party goers. They set up on the drive and began to create a range of delicious pizzas. The lady made the dough and added the various toppings and the man managed the cooking of them in the pizza oven. A young waitress was on hand to make sure the table was clean and everything nicely presented. The people running the van were very friendly and the van looked spotless. The pizza base was thin and beautifilly crisp and the toppings were plentiful and varied. Plently of choice and Villaggio Pizza will will cater for vegans, veggies, meat lovers and other dietry requirements if given enough notice. We took a pizza home and reheated it the next day as advised on the box and it was just as delicious reheated as it had been freshly prepared. This mobile pizza van is perfect for wedding, parties and events and definately worth considering if having a party or public event."

"It's a great place to eat, nice and spacious and has a great atmosphere. Weverre Happy to find a seat and the service is incredibly nice. It is actually the perfect restaurant to have a fancy and tasty meal. We were served by Sergiu who served us perfectly. "The manager is absolutely talking rubbish came storming out. We both thought we would go to Pizza Express at Fortkinaird and of course we had our dog with us so we thought it would be perfectly ok to sit outside and not inside with our dog. As we sat waiting a manager came out and told us we couldn't eat there if we had a dog. There were no signs to say dogs were not allowed and also there was no one else sitting outside. We up and left and went a couple of doors down where we were greeted nicely as even offered water for our dog. Would advise people never to go to pizza express and go elsewhere if you want treated with respect. Absolutely shocking way to treat people who were going to pay for a meal. Off course it all comes from the top if the manager is rude and can't treat there customers properly it gets passed down. The staff will think it's perfectly acceptable to treat customers like the way the manager treated us. As poor training very abrupt manager. The manager sorry to say couldn't organise A **** UP IN A BREWERY. Michael the manager did not explain at all just said no dogs. No sings anywhere telling people no dogs."

"Good Clean Family...Food.. Others have mentioned that the prices are high. I can't disagree. But the food is consistant and quality, even if the portions are a tad on the smaller side. I love the excellant choices on the menu. The best thing about this place (which I admit might be a turn off for some) is that it is very family friendly. I never feel bad about taking my child there. I don't feel like I'm putting others out. Most guests have kids with them, and it can get a bit noisy. But don't fear; it's clean and not chaotic or mayhem or anything. This is just a nice place to have a good family dinner in a pleasant atmosphere."

"My experience at Pizza Express for lunch was not great. We arrived at 1.00 but did not receive our food until around 2.00, even though the restaurant was not very busy.
