"I booked a table at Buddha Bar in Knightsbridge for my birthday after having a great experience at Buddha Bar in Egypt. Two of the people who were supposed to attend the meal were unable to come last minute and the restaurant charged me person no show fee. Considering we visited at a time when it was advised to isolate after testing positive for covid, I feel that this charge is excessive and put a dampener on the mood of the meal before we even sat down. The food was bland and overpriced in comparison to other restaurants within the area. The restaurant was clean and had nice interior but it felt like it was designed for taking photos for social media rather than having a delicious meal and immersing into the experience."
