"Had a fantastic meal here and was definitely worth it. The menu has a wide range of items so there is something for everyone. It 's on the pricer side of a meal so expect to pay for the quality of food you get however it was certainly worth it. The scotch egg was by far the tasty so do try it. Great cuts of meat and perfectly cooked. I do agree with other reviews that the triple cooked chips were disappointing, a few of them were impossible to even put a fork through as they were so crispy on the outside. The staff were excellent and very attentive despite it being very busy. The quality of service is 5 star for sure. The atmosphere was good as it was busy but its very much a traditional pub when you walk in and the atmosphere reflects that as does the seating, benches and table. Will happily return when looking for top service and excellent food again."
