"As for the food and drinks, the scones were standard at best, though the cocktail was delicious and visually appealing. However, the tea was not to my liking; the chamomile flavor was heavily diluted, resulting in a poor tea-to-water ratio. The second waiter simply replaced my water glass with still water, and while he was apologetic, he admitted to forgetting our order. The cleanliness of the dining area also left much to be desired. Loud pop music from a nearby party and boisterous chatter from an adjacent table disrupted the atmosphere. On a positive note, the aesthetics of the main hall were festive and attractive, which was a nice contrast to the distracting noise."

"Eat in or take away both are delicious. Always had great service here. The food is fresh and nicely presented and well cooked. Wine list is more extensive than most chinese and not too expensive. The recent improvements to the interior have made the restaurant more relaxed and comfortable. Loving the new crockery, for some reason good plates make the food look better. Ping and the gang have worked hard over the last year to make this restaurant a firm favourite amongst the locals of Hove."
