"We were extremely pleased with our experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was inviting. We were so impressed on our first visit that we ended up dining there every evening of our stay. It is rare to find such high-quality food and service at such a reasonable price in a hotel restaurant."

"We went on Shrove Tuesday lunchtime and the pub was very quiet. However they were expecting a lot of people for a large function that evening so maybe that's why there weren't many locals in. The fish was excellent and lightly cooked as we asked requested. There is a very good selection of drinks, especially real ales, on the bar and the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this pub."

"From the beautiful approach and the generous parking lot, to the magnificent location/view, to the excellent, insurgent service to the fantastic food (optically and tastefully) and the uplifting-hearted atmosphere, without being overcrowded. Everything's right here. Our frequent visits over a year speak for themselves. Thank you to the entire team and until the next time!"

"We went to Jolesch because Time Out recommended it. It looked great when we arrived – buzzy, friendly, cool... but looks can be deceiving and in this case they were. We were initially sat at a table next to the toilets and we asked to be moved, so maybe we got off to a bad start. We ordered wine and the bottle was simply placed on our table without even being opened for us. We saw the waiter pouring other tables’ wine. I asked for a little help translating the menu. I had been speaking German until that point. The waiter replied ‘I don’t have time’ and slammed the English menus on the table. The main course took a very long time to arrive. We had nearly finished the wine when it did, so ordered another bottle. It didn’t come so we asked another waiter. When it eventually arrived we had finished our food so we asked for two glasses instead of a bottle. And that was the end of the service. We were ignored after that. We were not offered dessert or coffee so we paid and left. Perhaps they don’t like foreign tourists. We are going to suggest to Time Out that they take Jolesch off their list before these rude people spoil someone else’s evening. As for the food, it was ok but nothing special. Expensive for what it was."
