"It was a bit loud being filled with Christmas drinkers, but you can’t really blame a pub for that. Also, Christmas meant a shorter and rather standard looking menu.....BUT the service was friendly and the food was simply excellent: not fancy, but just tasty and well presented. Frankly we were surprised it was ‘standard’ pub food but just exceptionally well done for all that."
