"Went last Sunday for the parent folk festival. The location is great, so much outdoor seating so perfect for race day and or good weather. The play area here was so good, the kids played for ages before and after we ate. Service was a bit unorganised considering it was a big event and they should be used to hosting so many people during the racing festival. This is likely due to poor staffing. Can’t fault the food it was lovely, I had a steak roast which was so good. Lovely carrot and swede mash, the roasties where lovely the Yorkshire pudding on the top was massive. Kids menu meals where great options and well priced for the location. Will 100% come back with the kids in the summer for a lovely roast and a few drinks in the beer garden."

"it was my 60th birthday meal and I would have expected that a bit more exhausting the tablet decorations were economical and all the plastic there were some real two or real candles. the service was insecure staff that had to be called to the table all the time and didn't keep us much in the eye. when several in the group wanted to exchange the free wine with cranberry juice, there was a lot "must ask the manager ' that feels uncomfortable no music that is not necessary to christmas, it lacks atmosphere and warm that was ok, but it would have been nice if there were some dishes with extra green as the brussel sprouts had been assigned and not only very thick I hope it will be better if I celebrated my 60th birthday party at 8.4 in the warren house"

"Had to be in Edinburgh on business so went in here on spec. So glad we did!!!!!! Lovely atmosphere friendly, professional staff and the food was freshly made and absolutely delicious. My husband had kofta and I had chicken, we both had rice. There was a large plateful each and a small dish of spinach and one of okra along with a large, fresh, nan. We were stuffed!!!!! It is not overpriced and it is a neat, clean restaurant. A hidden jewel practically next door to the Mosque. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly make the mile round trip to eat here again. Gorgeous Kurdish Iraqi food. Thank you all at Erbil for a wonderful dining experience."

"beautiful hotel and gardens. in the afternoon very moderate. very disappointed by the service. had to ask for essential items such as milk and teaspoon for the tee! also expected that they will offer the plate change during the further promotion to the desserts from the sandwiches, and also at different tees. surprisingly with the reaction when we mentioned some of this on a male member of the personal. he said he was surprised that we addressed this, as we seemed happy that the waitress makes our photos! very strange to say. the waitress has managed to completely cut one of my friends in all 3 photos! this is a great place to go if they want to admire the intent and it would have been nice outside if it were sunny. However, do not have high expectations for the food and service. I wish I had spent a little more and went to one of the nicer hotels in london. I should say that when we rediscovered our minds with another waitress, they could offer us even more sandwiches. I think one of the problems was probably bad training of junior staff."

"When we booked, we hadn't realised it was the restaurant's weekly taster menu night. We're so glad we'd booked because each course was delightful. We could have taken up the paired wine menu, but decided to just take two of the selected wines; maybe next time. We'd reached the end of our four night break in the area, so this meal rounded off our stay wonderfully. The decor is quirky and colourful, which we found refreshing. If meals are prepared and presented to this standard every night, you won't be disappointed."
