"The food was decent, but nothing particularly outstanding. The egg dish stood out to me as my favorite savory option. The table setting was elegant, and the presentation of the food was also quite appealing. However, our experience was marred by poor service. We felt rushed by the staff and were informed that we couldn’t have extra refills on the savory sandwiches because our table needed to be turned, even though we had only been seated for 50 minutes and there were more empty tables than occupied ones. This left us feeling unwelcome and diminished our overall experience. Our water glasses remained unrefilled, and there were other minor service details that one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Additionally, I was taken aback by the choice of a macaron for dessert, as it didn’t really fit the Chinese theme at all. There are so many fantastic Chinese desserts that would have been a much more exciting option."
