"The food selection was quite limited, and there were several items listed on the menu that weren't available, including some salads that were difficult to interpret. The lighting at the tables was so dim that diners had to use their phone torches. My fish was dry and lacking flavor, and some of the chips were undercooked and hard. My guests mentioned that their burgers were “just okay.” While the 50% discount made it affordable, I won't be returning. It's a shame, as the pub itself is a beautiful Victorian establishment, but it seems to be declining."
