"Booked a table for 2, arrived 5 mins early to find only a band setting up but no staff. Whilst waiting for my friend, someone linked to the band approached and said that the venue hadn’t let diners know there was a gig, so as a compromise we’d be charged half ticket prices if we were there when the music started. I hadn’t anticipated having to have dinner during a soundcheck! A member of staff finally showed up and as the only customer in the restaurant, I was ignored. At this point I opted to leave and dine elsewhere. I found the venue comparable to a school canteen, with zero atmosphere and in attentive staff."
