"Terrible ! Went there last week , had pork with chilli . Very nice , lots of gravey and green peppers and a few green hot peppers . Went there today and asked for the same dish with a few more hot green peppers . What I got was pork in chilli OIL with masses of dried red chillies . I was offered a replacement but I got the same thing with the addition of hot green peppers . I tied just eating the meat but it was way too hot . So I complained again and insisted that this was a completely different dish to the week before . I was offered an alternative but minutes later I was told that the chef was refusing to make me any more food . I was offered a partial refund of £4.00 . NEVER AGAIN ! EMBARRASSING AND INSULTING . I strongly believe that I was treated in this shoddy manner because I do not fit their Chinese Student demographic . To serve the wrong dish and then bring it back to me with even more hot chilies is just obtuse . And before anyone thinks it , no , there was not a language barrier ."

"On a cold day like today, it was nice to find a place in the neighborhood that offers hot dishes for a reasonable price. Started off with a chicken sea weed soup to warm up, and ordered vegetable spring rolls, duck spring rolls, and crispy duck dish for sharing as appetizers. Followed that up with a mixed steamed dim sum order that was pretty good. I washed the above down with 3 Asahi beers and was good to go! The price for all the above was £40.... So in my opinion good price for the quality and quantity you get. This is a relaxed place with good food for a reasonable price... Perfect for a Tuesday or Wednesday night when you need to enjoy a quiet week day night to bring you closer to the weekend. I would give this place a 3.8 if Zomato allows, but since it doesnt Ill round it down to 3.5. Stay hungry my friends!"

"Prince Gastronome. Out of the good rain and into a good restaurant. We badly needed another good moment to make this a good day. The Good Earth was classed as a Chinese restaurant, but it felt more Thai when reading the menu. After some reflection, I believed the confusion came about from regional divergence...and Canadian ignorance. This was certainly no Chinese restaurant as you'd find in Prince George; not a single dish had the words mein suey foo or wok I keyword searched the menu from their website. "I’ve never had anything but a lovely experience here. I always get the set menu with my partner which is excellent value for money and will leave you very full and happy! The starters and mains include a bit of everything like seafood, meat and poultry. And the quarter duck starter is very crispy and moist. One thing that always stands out to me is the customer service from the front of house to when you’re seated, everyone is attentive but not overbearing, efficient but not rushed. During my last visit being heavily pregnant as I sat down I was asked straight away by the front of house if my seat was comfortable and whether I’d like extra cushions. It was a small gesture but really appreciated."

"I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. It was quiet and peaceful, with excellent and fast service. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was calm enough to easily hear conversations at the table. There was no distracting background music, which was a plus. However, I can only give it 4 stars due to the high prices. If you don't mind spending a little extra, I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. They also offer a well-timed takeaway service, which is perfect given the current coronavirus situation. The food was still delicious and well-packaged for takeaway."
