"we were in southend for the birthday of my son. we had planned to go somewhere else, but our arrival was not open to lunch. we were looking for tripadvisor and decided to go to istanbul bbq. what an amazing place and experience. the owner and the staff were great, eating is to die. I can honestly say I'm glad we left and the other place was closed. this restaurant has become my favorite place in southend, we will definitely go back!"
