"well located next to the minster. to a warm reception of fran, who showed us in our room and shared us with us. beautiful room. beautiful clean bed linen and towels. tee and coffee as well as 2 bottle water and a few kitkats. had a shader for a late lunch that was beautiful. large beer garden with a huge pavillon so in the position to sit even if there was a little rain. good choice of beer and some great gins. very comfortable bed, a candy shower and a really good, well cooked breakfast next morning. fran was a star through and was great craic. really good value for money. I come back to york in november and I will book here instead of the previous place I have reserved. Thank you. clare and mel xx"
