"The restaurant A Caravela in Cologne is actually well located. However, the quality is considered. Who once was in Portugal knows what real Portuguese cuisine is. It's not bad here in Caravela. Nevertheless, it is not a comparison with the domestic kitchens. The ambience is also rather thirsty. But what is excellent is the service. Friendly, helpful and fast. So if someone asks me if I knew a good restaurant in Cologne right now, I wouldn't think of it directly, but I'd be happy to see the A Caravela in Cologne."

After a long time we finally paid a visit to “A Caravela” again. The food was very good, the service very attentive and friendly. Despite the fully booked restaurants, we were in good hands and felt comfortable. We would be happy to come back anytime

Everything was lovely, but a little on the premium price range... not too much but a little.Service was kind and discreet.Food was as great but not the best I’ve ever had, I wanted just a bit more garlic maybe... I don’t know... something was keeping it from being truly unique.I definitely recommend nevertheless

I was always happy with everything. I always liked both service and ambience. In some dishes, the portions could have been a bit bigger, but tastefully there was never anything to complain about. After I was no longer here for a long time, I will try it again with a visit there. If you can believe the reputation, everything should have improved again.
