We were very happy. Cosy ambience, tasty beer as well as food and service is also true.

Staff were brilliant and helpfull with the kids. Food was excellent and beer was from the Zwiebel.

Had a meal there with a business colleague. Friendly staff, very good beer and a good schnitzel with salt and fries. Simple pleasures but well worth a visit.

Good food with reasonable prices and very friendly staff, the icing on the cake is it serves it's own beer which is brewed across the road at its sister establishment.

In Aloisius the atmosphere is very rustic. The food is very good and the portions are neat. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A visit is worthwhile. However, you should reserve a table in advance.

Cosy, Westphalian inn; very balanced dishes: food very good and plentiful, all fresh, also salad (in winter!) and roast potatoes (no fast food, no burgers ...civile prices; Fleet and friendly staff... Then come back soon. .

Take a look at my review for Die Zwiebel. Aloisius is right across the street, owned by the same people and serves basically the same food. Traditional, calorie-rich, extremely tasty food that is presented tastefully on large plates by friendly servers. You will never go hungry there. They brew their own beer - and it is good.
