The restaurant has been thoroughly redesigned for a short time and is under new leadership. In the approach with new fresh kitchen, significantly reduced card and only a fraction of the wide range of the predecessor. And that's exactly what I have, the best quality of ingredients, but unfortunately still quite tasteless. This can be natural cuisine, unfortunately it is also quite boring. Such a bit more spices on the meat egg, a crimp in the carrots and a crumb salt in the potatoes would certainly not have spoiled anything. My wife had Wiener Schnitzel from veal with roast potatoes and salad. Well, the carving had a little butter taste and came out of the pan and not from the unsatisfactory frit. Bratkartoffel have even more own taste thanks to fat. And enough salt gives the whole a real taste. The atmosphere Unfortunately the outdoor area was completely boring. Wooden tables with cast iron base are not bad, but the plastic baskets fit into this monastery ambience as the famous fist. Here, the approach is unfortunately only slightly implemented in the mainstream. Very different the new interior. There was really a sympathetic modern ambience. Very good. Cleanliness The house is clean and well maintained. However, the toilet facilities are very limited."

"Da haben wir dem Restaurant nach einem eher schwierigen Jahr 2016 im letzten Quartal wieder eine Chance gegeben. Alle Softskills im Restaurant haben sich geändert und das leider nicht zum Positiven. Im Oktober hatten wir gute Steaks mit Pommes für sage und schreibe 38,00 Euro!!!. Da hat wohl bei der Kalkulation jemand vergessen, das Muschenheim nicht das Frankfurter Bankenviertel ist, auch wenn der Eigentümer dort sein Geld gemacht hat. Alles noch kein Problem, wir geben dem Haus im November 2016 eine zweite Chance. An einem Freitagabend um 21.00 Uhr sind wir die letzten Gäste, dies verwundert!! Gleiches Problem wie im Oktober. Gutes Essen aber deutlich zu teuer. Da wir die letzten Gäste waren, hatte der Service viel Zeit für uns...Da wir alles in allem nicht unzufrieden waren und auch von Freunden positives Feedback bekommen haben, wurde unser "Weihnachtsessen" wider der ursprünglichen Planung doch in den Heiligen Stein verlegt, das hätten wir besser gelassen.Das Menü sehr überschaubar und absolut überteuert. Der Service einfach überfordert und weit und breit kein Restaurantleiter in Sicht (hatte wohl frei). Das zweierlei vom Lachs roch und schmeckte "fischig". Die Gans war schon so trocken, dass sich die Haut gewellt hat und die Nachspeise war schlichtweg schlecht. Ich dachte wir hätten nur einen schlechten Abend erwischt, aber Freunde bestätigten uns ähnliche Erlebnisse im Dezember 2016.Sorry, ich weiß nicht wer dort die Verantwortung trägt, aber hier herrscht dringender Handlungsbedarf. Ich kann überhaupt nicht verstehen, wie die Verantwortlichen dort denken und handeln. Ich bin mir aber sicher, wenn man auf dieser Linie bleibt, gibt es dort bald nur noch kalte Küche...."

"Das Ambiente ist mit den Tischen an der Wand in einem saalartigen Raum etwas nüchtern und wenig gemütlich. Die Servicekraft war freundlich, war aber, da sie Ausschank und Bedienung gleichzeitig machen musste, etwas gestresst. Die Knoblauchsuppe mit Lachseinlage war sehr schmackhaft. Eine gute Idee ist es, die Suppen in 2 Portionsgrößen anzubieten. Die Schnitzelportionen waren sehr groß, ertranken aber in einer Rahmsoße aus der Tüte. Die Spätzle waren unter den Schnitzeln und der Soße begraben und damit matschig. Besser wäre es, Soße und Beilagen gesondert zu servieren. Der Beilagensalat war okay, aber schien auch mit einem Fertgdressing angemacht. Die Preise sind moderat. Wer keine großen Ansprüche hat, großen Hunger auf Schnitzel hat und große Portionen liebt, kann hier hingehen."

"We liked eating food there. The map was a beautiful mix of traditional and more modern Italian dishes, delicious pizza and delicious carvings. Service well. After some time we were not there, we decided our Christmas dinner on 2nd holiday in Calabria. Hard mistake! As we found later, the card was completely changed. Now everything is trimmed with truffles, buckets and liquors on the upper kitchen. The prices are accordingly screwed into the height. Unfortunately, neither kitchen nor service meet this requirement. The fact that there is a shortened card on holidays is normal and completely okay. Unfortunately, all the carving dishes on which my husband and my father-in-law were so happy were sold out. Keep Lasagne and Pizza Toscana. Three lasagna came, 3x lukewarm and so a small part that a normal adult cannot be fed. The pizza didn't come first. After the lasagna was reheated from the kitchen at the table (not without comment, but without apology with raised eyebrows), the pizza also came. The lush edge (almost 1/3 of the whole pizza) carrot burned black and not to eat. For the bargain price of over 13, € per dish. I can't. No comment on the burnt pizza residue on the plate again. My note that I want to replace the burned pizza rim for a free espresso was shoulder-cracked. Weak picture. We're not coming back."
