Dropped in twice for breakfast, friendly welcome, great decor and excellent breakfast that was very well priced. Very handy for the tube as well.

The vegetarian lasagne was wonderful, beautifully served; the atmosphere was warm welcoming. Thank you-you transformed a chilly Tuesday night in Hendon to a gourmet experience.

Found the staff, the food and the service excellent, well worth revisiting for seconds, my wife had the veal and I had the meat balls, the sauce made my mouth water, couldn’t get enough of the sauce. View menu

The best service and food. They really value their customers. Tony really understands his customers and I highly recommend. We have been eating here for years. Ordering direct is best. Don’t use an app.

I’ve been regularly ordering from Amaretto in JustEat and Uber Eats. Every time the order came extremely fast and super hot. Food is always super tasty! This time we had some issues whit quality of our pizza. I’ve called the restaurant and the problem has been solved by manager extremely fast and well! Amazing costumer service! Thanks Amaretto Team! You are doing a great job!

Recommended by hotel staff where we were staying. Husband had cooked breakfast he said was ok and value for money, I opted for burger and fries as it was after 11 am, a burger in a brown soft roll with a squirt of tomato sauce, fries were cooked in very old fat and a side of limp lettuce a slice of tomato and 2 slices cucumber. Was very disappointed as was on menu as homemade burger it tasted of nothing I left it. Would not recommend. View menu

I’ve been an Amaretto (Edgware restaurant) customer for some time and I was very happy when they opened the one in Hendon because it’s closer to me. Couple weeks ago I went there with my daughter and ordered some pastas. One carbonara, one bolognese and they were a joke. I got a carbonara with cream and parsley and my daughter got an awful bolognese. I’m assuming the chef just quit and the waiter had to cook because there’s no way an italian restaurant will serve a dish like that. On a good note the appetiser and the service was great. Probably I won’t go there again.

We ate here almost on a whim. Staying at a nearby hotel, we wanted somewhere convenient and attractive. Choosing the Amaretto based on previous reviews, we were not disappointed. The staff were warm and welcoming. We had the linguini dish with bacon, chili and aubergine which to say it was a generous portion would still be erring on the conservative side. We had the Chicken with garlic sauce and a side of French Fries. The sauce was excellent while the chicken was so tender I thought it wanted a cuddle. Seriously, it was a lovely meal for us both and a place we would heartily recommend.

Absolutely shocking service. We’ve ordered from this restaurant many times and the food has always been good. However, today we ordered and it never arrived, after a two hour wait. The website said to call them but nobody answered. Eventually we got through but the person then said they didn’t have a driver! The website was still saying 8.15 delivery at 8.30. They then said they had rejected the order, even though the website was claiming it was “on its way”. This is the most appalling service I’ve ever experienced from anywhere. We got no apology, no offer of compensation. After two hours we were hungry and badly treated. I’m honestly just horrified. View menu
