A fantastic hideaway next to the beach, an intimate terrace surrounded by pine trees and great, jazzy music. A bit expensive, but worth it.

buena comida y buen servicio. con el descuento del tenedor los precios son muy razonables para lo que recibes. el ambiente es muy agradable y tranquilo. no es para venir con prisa, es sentarse y disfrutar de la empresa, los sabores y el medio ambiente.

de hoy, uno de mis restaurantes favoritos de cada barcelona. Es un placer. espectacular comida, cocina innovadora con toque tradicional. Por supuesto quiero mencionar la atención y dedicación que han tenido con nosotros. ha sido una experiencia única y no dudamos en repetir muchas veces más.

El lugar está en decadencia. Fuimos un Miércoles, quizá en fin de semana o verano está más concurrido y alegre. Éramos 2 mesas cenando. Algunos platos y copas un poco sucios. El servicio es magnífico, hacía tiempo que no me servían con tal atención. La comida excelente, el menú de 32€ está muy bueno aunque quizá te quedes con hambre para pagar 32€ por cabeza. View menu

Anfiteatro is a lovely restaurant very romantic even though we were in a mixed group of work colleagues. We went for dinner and there were only to two tasting menu options, we went for the more expensive one which consisted of about 5 courses. I do not think the restaurant suited the night we having as we were heading to one of the clubs along the port afterwards. We were the only people in the restaurant and the owner was very attentive and the service was great. The menu is also gluten free. I would definitely go back but maybe not in a large group.

My wife and I arrived at this restaurant almost by accident and had our most enjoyable lunch in two weeks in Barcelona. We were exploring the Barceloneta area on a hot day and wanted a pleasant place for lunch. One guide book listed Anfiteatro as high quality 'alfresco ' dining but added that it was hard to find. Exactly right on both counts. Alfiteatro is at Port Olimpic, in the green zone between Carrer de Salvador Espriu and Avinguda del Litoral with the entrance from this latter, roughly opposite the end of c. Rosa Sensat. Barcelona, like São Paulo or Milano, is perhaps an acquired taste when taken beyond their obvious bells and whistles . A palatable bite that you can only fully enjoy when you know what the many don 't. The Anfiteatro is one of those de facto crown jewels that illustrates such tenet.
