"Ottima accoglienza, personale molto simpatico, Sergio, uno dei ragazzi, si è dimostrato molto competente e disponibile ad una chiacchierata pertinente. Esperto di grappe ti consiglia al meglio. Abbiamo preso una pizza normale e una speciale per vedere la qualità. La pizza normale, una Diavola, ha superato la sufficienza, la pizza speciale, una Porcini e Tartufo, è stata davvero deliziosa. Si pecca un po' con i dolci. Sono i soliti che si trovano in giro. Ma ottimo il tartufo bianco con l'amaro, non richiesto ma ci ha pensato Sergio, autonomamente, credendo (bene) di fare cosa gradita. Peccato che la grappa, barricata, monovitigno di Barolo, ottimissima, non sia stata offerta... Ahimè, apprezzo la grappa offerta a fine pranzo, è un segno distintivo Per poco, non si perde una stella L'ambiente purtroppo si sacrifica. Una sola sala che serve per mangiare al tavolo e anche per l'attesa dei clienti take away. Gran confusione... Che peccato"

"Prima volta in questo locale e devo dire che è stata una bella esperienza. Il menù presenta un'ampia scelta fra primi, secondi di carne e pesce. Passando alle pizze sia gourmet che classiche. Noi abbiamo optato per quelle classiche.Davvero squisite da dieci e lode. Si forse qualche tavolo in meno sarebbe stato l'ideale all'interno del locale ma tutto sommato la serata è andata più che bene con il servizio molto attento e preparato."

"The interior is simple and elegant, while the garden is a corner of paradise. The service is very attentive and the menu of great quality. Friggitelli are delicious and gourmet pizzas of high quality (my favorite is Apulia). Some friends who were with me ordered the meat, really amazing. It is clear that there is a valuable search for local meat with animals bred on the ground. We decided to come back, it was a pleasure to spend such a convivial evening."

"We returned to this place after 9 years and we were stupendously impressed...excellent fish, very fresh, excellent service, fantastic kids, our waiter Vincenzo was very kind and attentive to our children...what can I say, everything was fantastic, from the orecchiette to the tomato x which my children asked for an encore, the octopus balls, the sushi, the raw and the fried, we felt truly pampered!!!! congratulations guys, we will definitely be back!! "We recently stayed in San Cassiano at Don Totu Dimora Storica (a wonderful place! and had the great pleasure of cooking and dining with chef Raffaele of La Bersagliera during a cooking class he conducts at the hotel. In addition to greatly enjoying his company, we got an opportunity to see the care and attention he brings to every detail of a dining experience, from selection of the best fresh ingredients, to the home made pasta, to dish presentation, to the creative and delicious meals he prepared. Not only was he a gracious host to us, and gracious with his local cheese and vegetable suppliers and his team (Silvia and Roberta, Silvia's delightful daughter who did a great job interpreting for us in English , but his talents extend well beyond cooking as well. It turns out the he is a trained opera singer with a wonderful voice and he entertained us with a number of classic italian opera selections. We visited his restaurant which was in the quaint village of Surrano in a charming space within an old stone building restored with antique furnishings Raffaele refinished himself and with a lovely outdoor patio and terrace. While we regret not having an opportunity to dine at La Bersagliera, we helped prepare and taste a variety of Raffaele's dishes including his fried eggplant bruschetta, turnip frites, zucchini salad, chichory salad, orchiette and macaroni with turnip greens, taglierini with pureed chick pees and trofie pomadora and can attest to their high quality and taste. We highly recommend chef Raphaele of La Bersagliera and look forward to dining there on our next trip to Salento. Grazie mille!"
