"After we had a table reserved, we were kindly received. Unfortunately, that was the only thing we liked. It is difficult to taste, because tastes are different. I personally did not find it well seasoned apart from the pommes that were great.After we wanted to pay and my drink was empty for half an hour, it took until someone had come. Unfortunately, the service was missing because we would like to have something ate or drunk, but if you wait so long, it's not fun."

So whoever stays close can give this locally quiet visit. However, who wants to go to eat a good steak does not have to visit this charge because of the price performance! (yes we stayed there on a Thursday evening, it is recommended to reserve in the week due to the few seats)"

"they can go anywhere and sit. no need to wait for the staff to take them up. there is a big TV football, so if you like sport, aim at it. I ordered steak, medium. I have a rare and was very chewing. felt like. they have thrown a frozen steak on the grill and never checked the temperature. if I knew German, I would have sent it back. the service was excellent. I had her burger two years ago. If I have to come back, I could try again. it's pretty decent of what I remember."

"Fantastisch, mehr braucht es eigentlich nicht. Das Paar sind auch die Inhaber und sie sind sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und man hat aber nie das gefühlt von aufdringlichkeit. Die Karte wechselt ungefähr alle drei Monate und es ist jedesmal ein Erlebnis. Man muss sich auf manches einlassen aber ich wurde noch nie enttäuscht und es hat immer geschmeckt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Sauerteigbrot und das eigene olivenöl Ja es kostet etwas mehr. ABER es lohnt sich zu 100%."

"Die Auswahl an Gerichten in der Speisekarte ist sehr vielseitig und für jeden Geschmack ansprechend. Das Ambiente des Restaurants "am Meer" ist gemütlich bis Rustikal (im Innenbereich) aber auch modern im Wintergarten (man hat eine gute Sicht auf den Ortskern von Duhnen). Nun zum Essen: Die Steaks und Medallions waren von guter Qualität und sehr lecker. Auch die Peffersauce ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Bratkartoffeln haben nach "nichts" geschmeckt, ebenso die Champignonsauce. Die Portionen waren von "normaler" Größe. Was uns bei unserem Besuch im Restaurant "am Meer" aber absolut geärgert hat, war die Unfreundlichkeit und Vergeßlichkeit der Bedienung! Wir mussten 25 Minuten warten, bis wir unsere Essensbestellung aufgeben konnten (das Restaurant war nicht voll), Besteck wurde erst gebracht, als das Essen schon auf dem Tisch stand, es wurde nicht einmal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob es noch was zu Trinken sein darf (wir saßen 1 1/2 Std. in dem Restaurant bei einem Getränk). Auf die Rechnung warteten wir schließlich auch noch 10 Min.Auf Grund des "miesen" Services würde ich das Restaurant "am Meer" nicht weiter empfehlen, denn man geht schließlich Essen um zu entspannen und zu genießen und nicht, um sich zu ärgern!"
