"We had lunch here several times when we were in Paris two years ago and it was so good we looked forward to going back. Perhaps it was because we went for lunch on a Sunday that there was no menu du jour only a la carte. It was a lot more expensive than in the past -seems to have gone up market. The food quality has not kept up with the price from what we experienced. A complimentary amuse bouche and the entrees were very good but the mains were a disappointment. The rack of lamb was so tough that i gave up halfway through it even though given a sharp knife. The part that i tasted was good. My husband had salmon on a puree of aubergine. The salmon was overcooked and dry and the aubergine puree was awful - not smooth and unpleasant flavour. Sadly I don't think we will be going back anytime soon."

Nicely perpared food. Freindly staff. The starter was nice and everything got better. Good wine for the lamb. Dessert was the perfect ending.

We headed here our first evening in Paris as it was really close to our hotel, and another yelper had said we'd be the only tourists there, so off we went! View menu

Was invited there by my French friend for lunch. When we arrive at noon, it was empty, but filled rapidly, so would recommend reservations. Started with an excellent soup, followed by a beautiful fish dish. A French bistro with a French clientele.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Very helpful. Opted for the minted pea soup which was very tasty and refreshing. Took the main course special fillet steak which was nicely cooked and tasty. Would recommend a visit here.

A good restaurant for typical food, bistro ambiance. Good products, good wine, but not very inexpensive. "Menu du jour" is cheaper but still tasty.A lot of people at lunch time (I don't know at diner time). We went to Starbucks (50m away) for a coffee just after then to visit the St Médard church (100m away). Nice!(I recommend white cheese + strawberries for dessert) View menu

We met a friend who lives in Paris for dinner here, and really enjoyed it. She brought her three boys, ages 12, 16 and 19, and they liked it as well. Service was smooth and efficient. We had the terrine for an entree, and others had an interesting egg dish. My husband had the Iberian ham which was perfectly done, a large portion, with spring vegetables. I had the salmon on leeks, which was probably the best salmon I have had in France, succulent and moist. Dessert was the baba au rheum for which they are famous, and deservedly so, a lovely moist cake drenched in rum with a cloud of Chantilly.

We were almost finished our excellent meal when our neighbours arrived. He was originally from Malaysia, now living in Spain when not living in Paris, his wife was French. He said he was here for the third time this week. The foie gras was the best in Paris, he said. When his meal arrived, he shared half of his plate with us. Yes, the foie gras was very good. We talked about this and that, we took photos of each other, and he promised to visit us when he was next in Cape Town. A delightful restaurant with excellent food that will soon be discovered. Run don't walk. Excellent wait-staff, who appear to speak several languages - their advice for pairing wine to food was perfect.
