"We came here as a recommendation, we would not normally spend this much but as it was a special occasion we decided we would treat ourselves. As a starter, tuna and salmon ceviche with soy dressing and coriander was very salty: the predominant flavour was soy - with no acidity or lime or anything like that to cut through it - and even the coriander seemed to be completely absent.Main courses, I had the sea bass with spinach which was meant to come with champagne beurre blanc. What arrived was a) full of surprise bones (they hadn't even tried - totally offputting and ridiculous at this price!) b) unseasoned and c) instead of a lovely sharp tangy butter sauce with a touch of champagne, it came in a small amount of what appeared to be a reduced cream sauce, very rich and no sign of any acidity and certainly no hint of champagne. My fiancee had prawns and scallops with rice and sauce - it seemed to be ok generally apart from I'm not sure prawns are meant to be green? Very strange and offputting.Dessert was meant to be chocolate fondant. The final nail in the coffin for this meal was that the centre was overcooked, with no oozing chocolatey goodness, and the ice cream on top came encased in what looked like it was supposed to be delicate sugar work but was actually black, burnt caramel, very thick and it was like trying to chew through glass it was that hard. This was a total disappointment for what ended up being our most expensive meal in Paris, and if it wasn't meant to be a special night for us (that I didn't want to spoil further) I would have refused to pay.Avoid at all costs."
