Einfach mal lecker echte Wiener Schnitzel essen! Dazu ein lockerer Spruch der Bedienung. So geht Wohlfühlen.

Very good Austrian food. Very good service. Worth the price. Recommend to everyone. We had beef stew and schnitzel and beer of course, enjoyed it very very much!

Comme son nom l'indique, ce restaurant propose des spécialités autrichiennes dont (mais pas seulement) les fameuses Wienerschnitzels. C'est très bon et très copieux. Nous avons choisi d'accompagner le tout d'un sauvignon blanc (autrichien évidemment) qui s'est avéré également très agréable.Le service est sympathique et efficace avec des serveurs qui parlent anglais (réservation préalable faite en anglais d'ailleurs)

Un posto che si trova al di fuori dei soliti circuiti turistici virgola ma comunque un bel quartiere. La location è carina e particolare. I gestori sono cortesi e premurosi. Noi abbiamo preso una delle loro supercotolette (una in due, sono enormi) con contorni di verdure e patate arrosto. Tutto ottimo, prezzi non cari (vedere foto).Ottimo per spezzare la solita routine di Whrustel kartoffel e crauti.Ottimo l'amaro tipico austriaco.

Im Austria wird traditionell Schnitzel gegessen, welches wirklich üppig und gut ist. Die Bedienung war pfiffig und freundlich und ließ sich nicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Essen und Service sind also rundum gut.Was uns stört: man ist sich hier seines guten Rufes im Kiez bewusst. Da das Austria ein sehr traditionelles Restaurant ist, lehnt man hier recht oberlehrerhaft WLAN und Kreditkarten ab. Die Atmosphäre ist also unter dem Strich nicht wirklich ungezwungen und locker. Ich habe ein kleines Schnitzel bestellt mit Erdäpfel (also Kartoffelsalat) und Gurkensalat extra im Schälchen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell. Das war dann auch schon das Positive. Das Schnitzel war hauchdünn und bestand mehr aus Panade als aus Fleisch. Dann sollte ein vernünftiges Wiener Schnitzel in der Pfanne gebraten werden. Das Schnitzel auf der Webseite des Restaurants ist übrigens ein Pfannenschnitzel. Während mein Schnitzel gleichmäßig frittiert war, wie es nur eine Fritteuse kann. Der Kartoffelsalat zu sauer, der grüne Veltiner gerade noch trinkbar. Also Alles in Allem eine riesige Enttäuschung und natürlich nicht zu empfehlen. Bezogen auf das Schnitzelgericht.

Questo ristorante ha avuto un comportamento scandaloso e indecente. Anche se avevamo prenotato, appena arrivati siamo stati cacciati fuori perché non ci eravamo presentati alla prenotazione precedente, con la motivazione che in Germania non ci si comportava così. Il proprietario di un ristorante dovrebbe trattare un cliente in modo molto più rispettoso, sia perché non conosce i problemi che ha potuto avere, sia perché come diciamo in Italia il cliente è Sacro!A quanto pare, nonostante i molti tavoli vuoti nel ristorante, il proprietario non ha bisogno di guadagnare ed è anche stupido, perchè, mentre rapidamente sono riuscito a trovare un altro ristorante, lui ha preferito rimanere con i tavo...

This is a good austrian restaurant, not great. we had a nice evening there, although it was a little empty. the reason for that is probably the prices, which are quite high for this type of basic austrian/bavarian cuisine (the level is what the germans might call gutbürgerlich = good middle-class). we had the backhendl and the tafelspitz, two of my very favorite austrian dishes. both were competently prepared and tasty, if not sit up and take notice good. but the prices for them: 16.80 and 17.80 euros were high. less so for the tafelspitz, which is a more involved dish, but 17 for backhendl is definitely high, given the kind of restaurant and the quality.a big minus is the absence of a reall...
