"our last visit to the baan thai düsseldorf is already a past. the restaurant has been there for decades, but it is definitiw not worth visiting for anyone looking for food in düsseldorf. the personal is all thai and dressed accordingly. what they lack is the typical friendliness and courtesy; they did not greet us, nor smiled them. our orders lasted forever, even if we were asked for it - what happened several times during our dinner. no thanks for a drink money despite bad service and no reaction on our farewell although directed directly to the hearts at the bar. when they served a false main dish, they wanted to discuss the number we had ordered from the menu - and they wouldn't understand that we couldn't remember the number of the meal, they asked that they had about 300 items in their menu. When they finally understood that they had a wrong dish, the waitress twisted the eyes and just walked away. the meal was okay, but not anymore. we could not choose the season. a vegetarian rice dish was too sharp to be eaten, but a sharp dish was not sharp at all. the rice was boiled and tasteless, the sweet and the tofu were burned too long and everything burned. the dessert meat in the second dish was too tough to be eaten, and the sauce for this dish did not even suffice for a quarter meat. cocktails were bad, tee was not a single time measured, we asked for extra drinks. in short: 1. the most terrible service, nothing of what you should expect in a restaurant or especially in a Thai restaurant. 2. they save their money for this quality of eating and go to real shark sites that know how to prepare, prepare, presented and served a meal. 3. if they are in düsseldorf, they go to sila thai; if they are near baan thai, choose another place in the same road - they are all worth visiting."
