"Worst fish and chips. Completely bland, tasteless, soggy and so over priced! Charged £20 more than much better quality places, could have eaten out in a restaurant for less! Note they state everything is fresh but certainly doesn't taste it, look or feel it. I can't emphasise enough just how flavourless this was, could swear this is just old frozen fish. Lots of improvement; the chips are soggy with no flavour, garlic mushrooms not garlicky at all, haddock not bad, they charged for curry sauce but never put it in with the order. We visited this spot last night during the storm bomb that was engulfing Cornwall. We were on our way to the spooky tour of Bodmin Jail. Anyway we had fantastic fish and chips cups of tea and delicious curry sauce all served by an attentive and very hard working staff! Who weren't phased one bit when the lights went out due to a power cut, they just carried on regardless whilst the owner fixed the fuses! Worth a visit excellent quality!
