I’ve been here with friends who prefer the higher end of the menu such as steaks and sea food and they are equally appreciative. Great place."

"We ate at Le Grimaldi in the night the whole France celebrated the first day of summer with music festival in many cities including in this old medieval town. Despite a fully booked night (all restaurants in the plaza were full) the owner and waiters made we had a great service during the whole night.Also food was excellent. It was the first time I experienced what they called Burrata Soup that was amazing. We had a four course meal and other dishes were also good but not at same level as the soup Had a great night."

"We entered this little restaurant by chance... a wonderful surprise! The cuisine is refined and all Indian flavours can be found in the mouth. The greedy made us order a little more than we could consume, the proposed doggy bag was welcome and allowed us to enjoy these delights the next day. "A movie scenarium in one of the streets of Vence. Once arrived on the place, the first thing I saw was the waiter running everywhere. Actually, she was the owner but she was serving and working in the kitchen as well because a couple of people were missing. I ate delicious tapas with fresh ingredients coming from Spain (in fact the owner was Spanish) and what really surprised me was the quality of the service, despite the problems with missing personnel. Since I am Italian, the owner explained me everything about the dishes in a mix of Spanish, French and English. During the service she ran and jumped from the kitchen to the tables, she laughed when the light turned off in the kitchen and she worked with joy. Unforgettable experience."

"Restaurant has been in the same family for over a generation and is a quite charming dining room. Hostess was friendly.For starters, we had a Carpaccio of Bresola which was average the other a Asparagus with scallion goat cheese & chip. Which was tasty but a little too much scallion, kind of overpowering. We each ordered the same plat which was the house specialty, chicken roasted over a wood burning fire.While we thought it was good we felt it was a little bland and should have been better @ 39EU a person for ¼ chicken. For my dessert course I finished with a frommage plate which consisted of 4 small portions of cheese which underwhelmed me.It wasn’t so much the quantity but the selection that disappointed although could be a personal taste.One of the cheeses was a strong “smoked” cheese and another a “fresh” chevre that did NOT complement each other."
