great place with a smiling gold staff very pretty place a place where you must absolutely stop taking a coffee with coconut and pierrot the managers

Doesn't serve food but she is happy for you to buy in the bakery next door and eat if you are buying her drinks. Lovely sunny spot and always busy. Nice and relaxing - we went here 3 times with our lunch.

Very good time spent in this character restaurant. In addition to communicating his good mood, the team is listening and good advice. Food and wines were delicious, wanted and of quality, we were very well oriented regarding the wine-to-glass agreements.

It is a Bar not a restaurant ! If you want to met the locals have a drink there with inhabitant, vineyards workers, growers, winemakers etc. That is the place the locals go chatting after works or having a coffee while they buy their baguette in the bakeries close-by.

My wife and I stopped in for a drink between visiting the champagne houses in Ay. This is a little cafe with a few beers on tap. It was a cosy place to relax, but not much more. The bartender seemed very nice and he understood my poor attempt at French. I don't think they have food View menu

A superbly decorated place combining modern art tradition, a very warm welcome from Roman, the master of the places. And the plates, a DELICE! From the entrance to the dessert everything is delicious, fresh and homemade ... in brief I recommend 200.% Come and discover this little pepit in the heart of the great village of Champagne Ay

an incredibly warm welcome in a place decorated with a lot of taste! On the gastronomy side, taste buds are requested throughout the meal. the dishes are refined and presented with class. a special little attention to kirikou for these delicious desserts that made us finish our dinner on an excellent sweet note! I highly recommend this address to all lovers of the right kitchen. I'd love to see you soon!

We went there this Feb, probably the lowest season for tourism in Ay, which is famous for champagne tasting and vineyards. This Cafe du Midi is just on the seemingly only commercial small area of Ay, and the only opening cafe in the whole town. Coffee was tiny. The atmosphere was nice. Some town guys were there chatting. They maybe go to this place everyday. Anyway we like Ay, even in winter it is a very quiet place and we hope to go there again in peak season for some good champagne and local food. View menu
