"Found this place on tripadvisor which was a 10 minute walk from my hotel and had good reviews. On a Tuesday evening it was pretty empty I sat near the front and it seemed small but there did seem to be another area in the back. The lady who greeted me could speak good English and she ended up looking after me as the other lady on duty spoke no English. `Service was very good, the food wasn't to my taste although nothing wrong with it I think I'm too used to Chinese food served in London. the King Prawn rice was very tasty and cooked well - maybe a bit too salty but that's a personal choice. With another dish and 3 drinks it came to about 38 Euro which wasn't too bad and I think reasonable. The one thing that did seem true to the other reviewers and their proud claim on the menu was I could not detect any msg, afterwards I felt fine none of the normal thirst you get after msg so for that reason alone would recommend."

Great food and not too pricey. Tastes authentic and the service is pretty good as well. Would definitely come back again... And again.

Food was good, with good size portions. Atmosphere inside is nice, very authentic decor. Good selection on the menu and the staff are friendly.

If you are expecting typically western Chinese food, then this is not for you! However, if you want to be in the company of Chinese and eat food which is more in keeping with true Chinese then please go. The staff and friendly and can offer advice on some of the hotter dishes. Opposite the brewery micro pub so not bad for some late night food.

This restaurant doesn't use MSG so you don't come away feeling stuffed and bloated. The menu is very varied. Not just the normal stuff you get in Chinese restaurants in Ireland. The restaurant itself is very nice and the staff speak fluent English. Menus also in English. There are some Chinese and Japanese liqueurs to try. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This is a must visit, food is delicious and staff fluent in English and took us through the menu pointing out customers favourites, locals including chinese frequent this place. The crispy duck is a revelation, cooked on the premises and the best I have tasted, had it 2 nights running in different sauces the Hong Kong style being my favourite, all 4 of us thought this was the best Chinese Restaurant we had visited since Olly's in New York City.

It was just a quinsistance I whent here. It was a sunday, around 22:00 and needed some food, the restaurant was just around my hotel. I was surprised when enter the place; absolute no people there! But the waiter (probably the co-owner) was friendly and gave me a large menu with both chinese and asian-food in general. I went for the traditional beef shop-suey and it was very good. Not like in China (I have been there many times and travel all over China), it could have been more taste and "speed", but hot plates, hot food and very good sticky rice with a cover. All over a very good meal and the waiter was very nice and friendly.

visited with friends from china. in the grunde it is a caffe, with simple wooden, very simple decor and pictures of the kitchen on the menu. I'm sure there's nothing against it. we met for lunch at 12.30 a.m. and at 13.00 a.m. the place was full, especially chinese. what was a good sign. eating was excellent, with hand drawn noodles, beautifully seasoned, hot if it should be, and mild when asked. the three of us divided 4 main courses, and in portions were hearty. felt like being in china, with all the aromas from the kitchen. overall a very unpretentious, tasty lunch and highly recommended. to consider a thing, there is no alcohol.

I chose this restaurant while on business on the spur of the moment. It was full of both Chinese and Düsseldorf regulars, and - as other reviewers have noted - is not your typical Chinese place. At the back of your menu, you´ll find the real Chinese food, and if you´re brave you´ll try it. I wasn´t brave, but had a large helping of crispy duck which I enjoyed. The staff vary in their knowledge of languages but there were no problems at the end. It was nice to see how the regulars were looked after and how friendly everyone was. All in all, a pleasant surprise - and judging by the customers, probably the best place in this street filled with alternatives.

I was on a family trip with my son and my wife. after a long walk through the city of Köln I went back to our hotel in Dusseldorf South area. I looked through Tripadvisor and saw that this was a decent chinese restaurant and also available for take out. So I took the car and went for it. Besides the difficulty regarding parking in the centre, nothing to complain as this is always the case in city centres. The lady Who welcomed me spoke very good English although she was à 'true' chinese, noticeably. She was busy but realy welcoming. The restaurant looks nices with the authentic chinese decors, paintings and statues. Overall nicer then the median chinese we know. When I got back to the hotel...
