"I don’t normally write in English; however, the fantastic owner of this incredible gem of a restaurant said that he would appreciate it,so it’s the least I can do after the unforgettable lunch experience he provided me and my friends on Sunday. We were greeted like family and a basket of homemade walnut bread and olive bread and two entire salumi awaited us as starters, and Maurizio passed by with an unforgettable white wine to accompany them all on the house. We ordered the house antipasto I don’t even know where to start; the highest quality prosciutto from Norcia, carpaccio di angus (unbelievable), truffle tinged lard….then there was the cheese all researched and of the highest quality, parmigiano than extraordinary polenta with an African spice unlike anything I’ve ever eaten, a sformato of carrot, potato, and celery, a raw spinach salad with walnuts and balsamic glaze…more homemade bread and another bottle of excellent wine… Thank God my companion and I split the first dish! Gorgonzola, truffle, and speck medallions (similar to ravioli which were surprisingly delicate for such rich ingredients unbelievably delicious! Maurizio made sure to check in on us throughout the meal his pride was evident and his generosity rare and sincere. He came by with an excellent bottle of grappa and biscotti al vino rosso and chocolate all on the house, and enjoyed a shot or two plus several good stories. Not only was the meal exquisite, but so was the service (our waitress was equally lovely) and the treatment by the owners. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you Maurizio and staff!"

I've been here years ago and I've never been able to come back because of the difficulty of finding a place. Finally a Sunday of May I returned with my family. I found great food and hospitality for years. we were fine

The place inside looks 180 degrees better compared to the dull outside. Inside is a lovely atmosphere, with excellent hospitality. The food is excellent, a lot of variety, and very genuine and tasty. It worth the long drive to climb the mountain!

The second time that I have visited, the last time 4 years ago. The standard of the food and the service as excellent as I remembered. I made the 4 hr roundtrip from Rome just for this lunch and was very well rewarded. The food is classic Italian country cooking with a hint of Ethiopian spice. The wine list is varied and very good value for money. The hosts? Well you'll fall in love with their charm. I'm looking forward to returning. A word of advice... go hungry the portions are immense.

eating so well in such a fantastic environment is more an opportunity than an experience. maurizio and irene will never disappoint and it is always worth starting from roma to have lunch from them. delicious appetizer is wanted as always, excellent meat but the thing that left me speechless were the stuffed medaglioni of truffle, gorgonzola and mushrooms, an exceptional creaminess (but besides the kitchen knows the fact that it is.) as always excellent wines and excellent distillates, including a rum of the louisiana that I tasted for the first time and left me open! great then if you want to spend time, before and after lunch, in the meadows surrounding the restaurant, my children enjoyed a...

"I 've been meaning to write a review for Tre Brushettieri for a while years actually. I 've been going there for that long. You see, I actually live in Italy and have been up and down the Italian Peninsula. Needless to say, the food is one of the high points of this stunning country. But at the Tre Bruschettieri, I really feel at home. Except the food is MUCH better. First of all, it 's a family run restaurant. Mom/Mother, Father/Husband and Daughter. The service is impeccable but easy going and the atmosphere adds to this, being a whimsical mix of books, games, knick knack and really cozy seating. It makes you want to hang out and take your time, which is really how you want to enjoy a great Italian meal. And then there 's the food. It is traditional with some remarkable additional touches and minor re inventions, some of which are actually based on even older and, in particular, local recipes. The menu is large enough to find something for everyone, yet not so overdone as to make choosing into a chore. And it changes on a regular basis with some cornerstone dishes always available. And the wine, whether it be of the house or a select bottle, is just great with their remarkable after dinner digestives offered by the house. If you prefer, they great local beers as well. And the price? Let 's put it this way, the last time a guest offered me dinner here, they looked at the bill and said, Is that all? Yup, that 's all folks! Buon appetito!"
