"We were made to feel very welcome as we arrived at 2:50pm....service of food finishes at 3pm. We were not rushed at all and the food that we ordered was excellent one of the best fish pies I have ever had. We will definitely be returning... Highly recommend this cosy little pub either before or after a walk in the local countryside, or a visit to the Roald Dahl museum with children."

We just popped in for some lunch before a hospital visit and the food was lovely , I had the chicken supreme and it was cooked to perfection , hubby had fish pie and loved it , if we are that way again we will definitely come back . Quick friendly service too�

We drove 30 mins on the back of a recomondation from the chef Peter who popped into our pub for a drink one night. What a little gem. The food was faultless and the customer service was spot on. Very clean and welcoming and will definitely be going back for more spoils. View menu

We visited with a table of 8 (half of which were children! at short notice on a busy Sunday, and all the staff were massively accommodating. Nice food and an interesting selection of ales. We had a great lunch and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Great Missenden.

What a lovely, high quality, pub lunch!! Stopped off for lunch, lovely location in the Chilterns. Lovely outdoor seating in a friendly environment. Very fast and efficient service. Good range of veggie dishes too, on menu, and good value. Really enjoyed our walnut and beetroot salad, courgette chips, and halloumi burger!! Highly recommended!!
