"Who plages hunger and thirst in the Cologne Flora, the Botanical Garden, finds remedy in a picnic. No picnic on the meadow, but on the side terrace of the main building of the flora. Thanks to Augusta , a garden place that is open only in beautiful weather, small dishes, cakes and ice cream. Several parasols span on the terrace differently designed seating groups on gray metal tables. If you want to settle for a picnic here, you get to a kiosk, Büdchen says the Rhineland, the dishes and drinks of his choice. A picnic bag is then packed at the bush, food, drinks, cutlery – all in! The dishes are partially packed after the order, others are available in glasses. Pay and then get to one of the tables! August 3 was a hot day in Cologne, over 30 degrees. Hüngerchen and Durst reported on the tour of the flora. So this celiac picnic variant was tested: – a couscoussalat at 4,90 €, – a piece of meat cheese at 3,90 €, – once goulash with rolls at 7,90 € and twice mineral water at 2,60 € each. The couscoussalate was sprinkled with mint and vegetables (including paprika, broccoli) and tasted with curry. At the meat cheese, served hot in an aluminum dish, there was nothing to taste. Soft, well-cooked meat characterized the goulash, which was accompanied by a potato bunny. Pikant was the Gulasch, but not sharp. All in all, a delicious picnic that drives the chicken. Thanks to Augusta, it is recommended to rest in the flora."

Vegan options are clearly labeled, a few options both savory and sweet. The app works very well and the orders came super fast! A lovely place to sit in the summer time and enjoy a stroll through the garden before/after.

Great concept, salads and hearty snacks as well as delicious cakes and desserts in small one-mach grills, with coffee, tea and fancy limes etc. All in baskets served as a picnic. Very harmonious and expensive still ok...

Vegan options are clearly marked. They serve some vegan snacks like salads and bretzel and vegan cake/dessert. The garden is wonderful, especially when the weather is good. I found the hearts on the menu cute: Black Heart Vegan. White Heart vegetarian

in the interior of the botanical gardens, large selection of salads, sandwiches, suppen and cakes, with clear markings thereof are vegan and those are vegetarian. great place to lunch or stop a snack if they are close to the zoos or in the botanical gardens

Very nice place with a large terrace in the middle of the park. Buy food and drinks at the counter and then there is a small picnic basket and a package can be searched. Reusable dishes etc are used, which is a big plus point in my eyes. Good food and a rich selection of drinks.

You can order by app and get the food and drinks to the table or you can pick up yourself after you have secured a table at the reception. I was rarely used as an advanced. Never in Cologne. The view is unique at every table and in the middle of Cologne. Very quiet and beautiful. Worth a visit.

We were lucky to be able to celebrate our wedding in Augusta. Communication and service are great! The staff is very friendly and attentive. All our wishes are fulfilled. From decoration to drinks and food everything was just perfect. The location offers a fantastic view of the botanical garden. Absolutely recommended, especially if you are looking for a location for the wedding. Thanks for the wonderful day!!

We were recently back to Wednesday BBQ, this time under corona conditions and inside, as the weather unfortunately did not play. The food was then served inside. The salads were again super delicious and also the dips aromatic and great combined. The BBQ enjoyment as a small selection for vegetarians was something too smokey. Also, that everything was served separately in small glasses, I find great as an idea. The service was very friendly!
