"We wandered in on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was reasonably busy, largely with what I assume to be a regular crowd of elderly clients but also some families. It is located on a busy corner, has two floors and the decor has presented a...traditional image for many years now. We started with a fried squid- over battered, not crisp- and the salted cod carpaccio- pleasant, a little salty. For mains we had the roast lamb- quite nice flavour, certainly well cooked and a good dish- and the monkfish- visually interesting presentation complete with jaws, subtle and pleasant flavour and an overcooked boiled potato. Overall the food was average. For two people over without dessert or drinks- expensive for the quality."

eating here was amazing. we just stumbled that by chance. they only speak Catalan, but don't worry about it - there are English menus and service was excellent. it is one of the highlights of our trip here and will definitely come back

the restaurant is located in a historic place of the barcelona; ideal for celebration and for family events, weddings, banquets. the protagonist of many dishes are the snails, which together with the friendliness of the scoops explain each of the dishes of the menu.

that is a very traditional restaurant, at the san juan avenue and just a few minutes walk from the sagrada familia. I have always gone to this place when I visit barcelona when for everything, for the cullunut style chicks. for me, the best in the world (and I have tried many different restaurants worldwide for screwing).

they speak only Spanish or Catalan. as we were there, we ordered menus of the day that ordered us to the other tables. it was funny, eating was good. we appreciate their desserts. by the way, we paid per person. I would recommend... to people who are willing to try something else. the place looks like a French « brasseria ». another beautiful experience we enjoyed.

A very nice lunch. In the beginning I was certainly the youngest customer in the restaurant. And I'm not young. I really enjoyed watching the having their lunch, enjoying, being happy. And I understand why when be I got my game as al jail...love. Perfect balance of chilli and garlic. Perfect shrimps. For main I had the merluza so good! And service was excellent. Knowledgeable waiters who do forget some things but do that with lots of charm. I do recommend this restaurant.

this restaurant has been on the way for a long time. it is no longer what it was and I will never return. dirty tassen., service bad and even older people do not know how to serve. the Christmas menu a real cheating € the broth...with chopped crackers. the escudella with the calf uses a left round cut. they have laid sausages xoriç! huh cold and without gnade with pieces sausage and speck. the industrial snowball dessert, the wafer of highest quality as nougat. they simply save the wee and the cava only for the price. everything in one. never again. I hope they will close soon.

Lunch and a glass of wine. I had the catalan salt cod salad and then pigs trotters braised in Almond milk which were good... But cod needed more vinegar and the pigs trotters were very rich but tasty Also a glass of white wine when...poured the old boy waiter emptied, the nearly finished over measure white wine in to my glass and gave me a little cheeky smile!! That just sums up the Spanish people!! I enjoyed it and would definitely come back for there snails and some other dishes...there were a lot of elderly well healed people in this art deco esq... Old school restaurant.... Pleased I stumbled across this little gem.

My family and I were walking around the calm neighborhoods of Barcelona, and since it was lunch time, we decided to stop by the Can Soteras. The place was clean, and the staff were kind and attentive, as well as well-dressed. We were also happy...with the food quality which sat well with all of us. The location is wonderful, and the restaurant itself has been operating since so the family-run atmosphere is comforting. The founder of the restaurant (aged was even present to overwatch the service. I can recommend this restaurant to tourists digging deep for a nice place to have lunch, or a local, to enjoy the nice atmosphere.

This is an absolutely wonderful restaurant. We went here for our final dinner in Barcelona, and seriously regret that we did not go sooner, as we would have liked to come back. It is about an minute walk from the Sagrada Familia, yet despite...its proximity to touristic spots, the restaurant was mostly empty and pleasantly quiet. We ordered fisherman's soup, snails, cannelloni, cod, hake, and lamb, all of which was delicious. Worth noting are the snails, which was a delectable platter of about escargot Catalan-style for only Everything was reasonably priced, with most dishes costing I highly recommend this restaurant, and had a most enjoyable time there.
