"Copy of my criticism of RK: A visit to the mill was pending. I wanted to eat there a little longer, but I'm not so often in the area. However, several acquaintances and relatives had only reported well about this jewel on the Elbe, and the Gault Millau also praises the new owners in its 2014 version with a score of 14 points. Even if the lunch ticket is less noble than in the evening it offers a great opportunity to meet the cooking style. For 21,90 or 25,90 you get a 3 course menu where only the main dishes differ. The cheaper menus come vegetarian or with a lamb roast sausage while we had a choice for only about 26 euros. An absolutely fair price. On the map you will find a great potpurri of old vegetables from the old land and fourlands (since the Elbe). A great concern as we have found. The lunch kitchen can be described as regional and creative. In the evening it becomes more noble and even more creative without losing the region. Many lamb, fish and old fruit vegetables. Small criticism: someone should seek the card again together and segregation. There are some carvings inside, but you understand everything well and it won't blunt. I just noticed. Operation The operation was professional and well trained. With an employee under stress, we would have liked to have seen 2 3 smiles more, but otherwise you will also notice at noon what will be possible in the evening. Very friendly service, communicative and flink. A young team that had good teachers. A company in the upper guest room asked the ladies some things so there was a longer waiting period between the corridors, but that was no problem at all due to the beautiful atmosphere and the good communication of the operators with us. 3 courses in 2 hours with coffee absolutely good. Has of us already had very often bad service in the old country (also in touristic locals and cafes). That was really a good idea. I'm curious if an increase is possible in the evening. As an amuse we have two types of bread (in order, unspectacular) with olive oil and older flower salt floating in it. That was very delicious for me, but I would have had more elders. I started my menu with a herbal foam with a light beard flower signature (single price: 4.90). Wonderful to see Dibbernschem porcelain, fine and tasty. The wild herbal salad in hazelnuts dressing on a bete bed has also tasted good and fresh. There was not full creativity yet, but good craftsmanship. 4 stars for the appetizers. In the main course there were fried lambs (single price: 19,90) with bulk clock, carrots (forged shapes and colors) and pumper nickel cream. The cooking point was perfect. I already had lambs that were a bit more finer in taste, but for that the cook cannot be. The plate had long stood, so the Bulgur was only lukewarm, but that also went through. The glazed carrots were fantastic, like the Jus. A small mirror of Pumpernickel cream that came on a celery basis when I woke it right. Everything harmonious and well done, tasty, but also no 5 stars for me, that then it is likely for the dishes of the evening ticket at the next visit. I have also tried the lamb sausage with herbal sausages and old apples (wonderful combination and great aroma, 14.50 Euro solo). That was really harmonious and great. Also the bowl with eibröseln and cauliflower (foam and roasted classically cooked) was very good. The vegetarians were satisfied with their mouth pockets or Pepper Risotto and black-rooted stems. Main dishes: 4 stars 5 stars were then in dessert. Schokotarte with Sauerampfer Granité and marinated Altländer plums. The cake a little Christmas, but very tasty. The Sauerampfer tastes well in the icy buds with a large color note and delicious plums. Made pleasure for autumn and for 5,90 euros in the solo price very fair calculated. I tried the Sorbet variation (Apple and Cassis). That was a very big fruit. very good and intense (3.90 euros). The Altländer Beerenragout (about less solid Red Grütze) with vanilla ice cream (I think it is self-made, with the Sorbetkünsten) then rounded off the offer as a classic for 4.50 euros. All 3 desserts were for this price smooth 5 stars. Great. Overall, I stay very close to the 5 star rating, but clearly 5 stars at the PLV. And the view of a reassessment of the performance in the evening, which will probably have 5 stars. Also here will be a visit on the scheduled evening, because we only had Rhabarberschorle. The ambience With an old mill as a locality you have a good base. If the device is still correct, the 5 stars are no longer in the way. Classic noble furniture, bricks and lots of candlelight. Full hit in black. Next time I try to take a look at the different separate rooms (which you can rent/maintain for companies). Cleanliness The toilets were clean and perfect. The rest of the restaurant was also well maintained."
