"D-R-E-A-D-F-U-L for COL! And I read the reviews saying "don't go!", but I went. It was late, I was tired, it was near my hotel, I felt like the comfort of a Japanese meal. That was some comfor! To paraphrase Naipaul, the first thing that hit me as I came in was the smell; and it was downhill from then on...The smell was of some sort of desinfectant, or deodorant, or whatever, mixed with the smell of burned oil from the kitchen... which you can't see at all. No sushi bar either. Should've left right away but didn't have the courage...Service: there was one waitress. She was Georgian (not Georgia Georgia Georgia USA but Georgia, Caucasus). But, like the ole' Lui, no words she found – to talk to us (for I speak no German and English, French, Italian were useless with her), until we discovered that she spoke decent Russian. The absurdity of the situation relieved the atmosphere: a Georgian waitress in a Japanese restaurant serving in Russian! She was very sweet, bu the way, so – absolved!Food. It was definitely unfresh... We drank hot sake not as much for the taste but for desinfection.Grey tuna. Paper-thin salmon. Etc... Menu said "California Maki": it was DEEP-FRIED!!! Fourth-stage recycling or what?I am 99% certain all nigiris were pre-frozen. Sour-ish. Grainy thin miso soup with half-dry seaweed... The public hygiene official or the food authorities, or whatever, should check the joint. Didn't have food poisoning, but it felt like I was just plain lucky. How can people write that it was "great" – I simply can't conceive. What Japanese restaurants do they eat in, in their countries? Hate to imagine! Please, don't go! And, for the rubbish that it is, it wasn't that cheap either."
