Die Speisen sind unansehnlich und unappetitlich hergerichtet. Der Preis ist unangemessen hoch. Schlechte Massenabfertigung.

The food tasted good, especially after visiting all the places on the top of Europe! I liked the noodle soup with drumstick.

Because of the weather we could not see past the window! We were here several years ago where the view alone was worth the visit. The food was decent and the service was good. The price was a little high for the value received.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Restaurant. Von der Piste muss man ein paar Meter zu Fuss zurücklegen, aber das lohnt sich. Überaus freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Besonders die Käseschnitte hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Preis/Leistung ist sehr gut. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

So being at the top of the mountain can be really cold. They serve delicious warm corn soup and have a great bread basket. The main course - chicken and chips is delicious! The dessert was ice cream and I loved that too. It had a very unique retro taste to it. Would definitely dine here again if I can. View menu

qualitativ schlechtes Essen mit komischen, unpassenden Kombinationen. Essen wird gefühlte 10h im Voraus gekocht und jeweils vor dem Servieren aufgewärmt. Grundsätzlich ja kein Problem, bei pampiger Pasta jedoch nicht so toll...Beilagen und Dessert aus der Büchse resp. Tüte. Das Beste: Personal und traumhafte Aussicht!

Hearty, mid-priced food to endure the weather outside as well as the Monchsjochhutte Hike. Up there, you can only eat at the Crystal Restaurant, Indian Restaurant, Fast food stand, or here. The Restaurants are too expensive with prices of at least 30+Fr for a full meal. The fast food stand just outside the station is pathetic and overpriced, with a cup of instant noodles going for 8 Fr. Here, my lunch was 20Fr and hearty enough.

You know the place is not cheap because (1) you are in Switzerland and (2) you are on top of a 3500-meter mountain. The food actually tastes not bad. Drinks at 5.90 Swiss Francs a bottle - but what can you do. The place is huge and it's fairly easy to find seats, even with the crowds that they have. The only thing is the lady at the check out chose the payment as USD (as opposed to Swiss Francs) for me. I would much rather prefer the latter because my credit card does not have foreign transaction fee and therefore would have paid about 3 USD less if the payment was in CHF.
