"inglés is a fish restaurant, perhaps the most famous in brighton. Among the diners are fish cakes, small roasted cakes made from fish or crabs, mussels, crumbs in a wok, scampi, seafood risotto roasted. almost all dishes are made from fish or muddles. the dishes cost around 14 pfunds, the cheapest is 8 pfunds and the most expensive cost 18 pfunds. it is a bit expensive, but it is a nice place. there is also an oyster, where they can order half dozen or dozens of oysters, with a sortiment of different sauces. this place has been open for over 100 years and famous people often come here to eat. customers who have been through their doors belong tony blair, ewan mc gregor. or charlie chaplin in the past and charlton heston. it is a place to pamper and is perhaps the most famous seafood restaurant in the country. She has been the same owners for 60 years."

Great birthday experience! Made welcomed by the staff and even treated to a free glass of fizz. Definitely a place I would go to for for special occasions, A bit pricey but the quality is well worth it! Thank you guys!

Amazing seafood restaurant, absolutely loved it! Grilled fish of the day was very fresh and tender, we went for a sea bass and monkfish, both delicious! Lovingly looking brownie was just a sweet dot after our lunch here.

the dame that served us was very nice, the other dame is a complete b!* we asked another staff where the rest of the dishes are, we ordered the last, but it came first! she replied this is a cold dish, that means all for them. I literally fucked her sarcasm. later I asked her where my wee is, which I ordered, she came back and cursed me. they have already ordered it with my colleague, why they order it again. Hello, it's not my fault you can't understand a simple English? the best is that she didn't even apologize and she went away! this incident is enough for me to never go back after everything just...read more

We visited during the Easter holiday. A great local seafood restaurant, the food is delicious and the young lady serving our table is friendly. 5-star for the food and the table experience itself. However, I took a star away because the reception person at the door is RUDE. This gentleman with some east-European accent at the door treated us condescendingly, not sure if it's because we look touristy. The way he looked and talked to me made me extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. The doorway is narrow, he seemed to deliberately stand in my way when I was passing by him. Even a decent person would be more polite than he is, not to mention he works as a receptionist in the hospitality industr...
