Walking around Montalcino you may find lot of choice. We just jump into Grotta around 6pm (we left at 9pm), i think we have been through most of the menu and all the Brunello by the glass wine (6 different). No complaint, all good, quality/price...5 star.

excellent restaurant in montalcino. the wine is really good tasted the classic montalcino brown of 2017.) good the croutons to the truffle, lasagne with the ragù of chianina and the wild boar in very tasty and spicy damp. ) good anhe beans to the bird. prices in standard and normal quantities. good service.

from the outside would not seem....but when you go through the door you will surely be amazed. super characteristic and well organized, friendly and helpful staff. we have lunched with excellent dishes accompanied by brown glasses of various wineries and vintages. inside you can also find typical products to give your friends/parents. we were eating with my husband and our baby. it was great to sit outside on a central street of montalcino, the service was perfect, really attentive to our needs (i.e. mainly the needs of the baby, as he wanted to eat now and...similar) nice choice of weeping and very tasty eating. additional charm is given by the position in the heart of an old city where you run during the search for cheerful mass, children run to their ice creams and all else that they would expect from an Italian dream. in any case recommend.

A fabulous place! I think the experience of such a lunch, I've never felt it in my life. we took the degotation of Tuscan dishes with 4 courses and a glass of wine for only 28€ and the pork cheek to red wine. boys who are in the kitchen, is really the head of Tuscan cuisine! the manic waiter and the girls working within the club, which in cash and those in preparation of the appetizers are a crazy team of friendliness and knowledge of the products. everything, but really everything very good and cared for in detail.

not being of the area and not knowing where to go for a quick lunch during our visit to montalcino, we decided to stop at this place near the square of the people. the cellar is made inside a cave, very nice to see. at the entrance we find the corner nookinery and an exhibition of typical products of local food and wine with numerous bottles of wine well in sight in all rooms (there is no more than one, the place is not small.) we opted for a friez of the cave (x2 people) and for a portion of bruschette, I did not expect it but was very abundant and of good quality, with the inevitable peach all accompanied by fruit and jam. drink, two glasses of red of montalcino, of cellars recommended by...
