Attitude from waitress Starter was given, as soon as we finished the plates were collected and main was put down with no space between meals. This is not acceptable. Felt that we were rushed to eat and leave. Waitresses stand near your table which is quite off putting when you want to converse privately. Such a shame as the food was lovely but definitely wouldn’t go back there unfortunately.

When I politely asked if we could substitute the bulgar and salad for mashed potatoes, I was told that no substitutions were allowed. They did say they could remove those items, but I would still have to pay for a side of mashed potatoes. For me, it's not about the cost, but the principle of the situation—it felt a bit frustrating, to be honest. I can't fault the food; it was excellent as usual. However, our bill went from about £100 for two to £135 due to the price increases. While I can accept the rise in prices, the customer service experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Honestly, I don't believe we'll be returning for a while, which is a shame.

The décor is mostly dark, with black-painted features and walls adorned with some sort of glittery black paint, complemented by black shutters on the windows. However, the food was delightful, with flavorful accompaniments that perfectly complemented our starters. We especially loved the salads, which were topped with pomegranate seeds and walnuts. Starving, we devoured the delicious pizza-like bread rather quickly, but our excellent server was kind enough to bring us more. For starters, we ordered the scallops and hummus, both of which were wonderful. For our main courses, we had lamb shank and a creamy chicken and mushroom dish.
