"You find all the typical local food here and you get a lot of it The quality of the food is amazing, the restaurant itself is roomy and nicely decorated. There were not any unique dishes, but I reckon that is not...a problem since most people probably come here to experience more local cuisine. Service was friendly and the price adequate."

very enjoyed our meal here. we visited three nights. eating was good and very cheap. the decoration was traditional and beautiful, and the owner and the staff very friendly.

we were there at the boxingday, it was really busy. beautiful atmosphere. very friendly staff. well stuffed classic German food. rent a beautiful spatburgunder from heger (kaieserstuhl). no skin cuisine, but you can spend a rewarding evening here.

the soup taste was very good. I thought the part was a little small compared to US standards. it took about hours to complete a table, a little long, again according to US standards. they cannot find with this restaurant in other wise error-free. everyone enjoyed eating at our table, no complaining about taste or quality. we had to wait for the food, but it was worth waiting (which contained some small beside dishes). ends up some of the food behind us because we were so full. a little surprised when it came to eat because we expected the carvings to be baked and fried deep, but they were pan roasted instead. not complaining about the difference.

We stayed in the hotel, so we ate here times in a week. They have a extentive menu, with alot of different dishes, so there is something for everyone. The food is well prepared and tasted very nice, and most of the time the...service is very freindly and fast. On busy nights, the service suffers a bit. The prices are very reasonable.
