"How this restaurant manages to have great reviews as well as Michelin ratings remains a mystery to me. Maybe I should become a food inspector! Unfortunately we chose this restaurant for our wedding anniversary dinner, what a mistake that was. Firstly, we were served an 'amuse-gueule' masquerading as a slice of mortadella; more like a very thin sheet of blotting paper. My wife then took the mozzarella with tomato as a starter (well, actually half a tomato). For my part I went for the raw ham; almost transparent and tasteless. For the main course my wife chose Penne Norma which she described as 'bad'. I took the faux filet with gorgonzola sauce which I requested to be 'underdone'. needless to say when it arrived it was overcooked and tough served with a few cubes of semi-fried potatoes which were black around the edges. For dessert we chose ice cream and panna cotta (with no particular comment). All this was washed down with a 25cl carafe of house red wine which at 14€ seemed quite expensive to me. The garden is in fact a yard albeit with ivy and plants but is quite crowded and not the place for a tête-à-tête.No, we won't be going back there. Better try O Fil Rouge or La Casse Noix, both of which represent much better value."

We had a dinner in this restaurant. The food was tasty but nothing amazing. The service was on the average.

Always feeling home but the food and wine are real one from Sardigna in Italy. The owner is super familiar and is welcoming us.

Me and my wife visited this restaurant on our first evening in Paris from recommendation from Trip Advisor and the staff at our hotel. We were welcomed by the owner and sat outside in the garden. The menu was mainly in French but had help from the staff and managed to enjoy a three course meal.Very friendly and very tasty food. Would definitely.

This was one of our favorite meals in Paris! The staff was very nice and formal. Most of the waiters spoke Italian, French and English, which came in handy for us. The food was very good, we enjoyed the bruschetta, the taglaita di manzo rivalled the one we had in Italy and my pizza margharita was very thin, which I love. Also the bread we recieved on the side was to die for. It was a bit pricy but well worth it! View menu

Right next to Metro line 6 on Boulevarde Garibaldi, this was an exceptional treat for us. The food and ambience is exceptional for a small neighborhood restaurant. It was recommended by our hotel staff as one of the finest Italian restaurants in Paris and it did not disappoint. The 'made on site pasta' was superb as was the warm and friendly service. We were rounding out our week in Paris having sampled up to that point some excellent food.....this absolutely topped everything including establishments three times the price. Bravo!

Whenever I am in Paris for work I get to Fontana Rosa for dinner and, until now, I was never deceived. The first thing is the service, perfect without being too stiff and formal. The ambiance is good, although the space is quite tiny ( as every restaurant in Paris). I love Sardinia and went there plenty of times in all seasons and I know quite well its food and wine and this restaurant gives you a good overview of what you can get down there! I suggest you follow the advise of the staff, and go there after a long day at work or good walk in Paris , you will be rewarded. Excellent list of Sardinian wines, and grappa, at very decent cost. Highly recommended indeed!
