"At Frankie & Benny’s, you get what you pay for. The meals are very affordable, and it is understood that the quality matches the price. We started with the BBQ chicken wings, which were generously coated in sauce and tasted great. For our main courses, we had pizza and a hot dog. I especially enjoyed my goat cheese pizza, although the crust was a bit disappointing as it was still raw in some spots. The waiter was friendly and enthusiastic at our table, but the service was quite slow. The waitress apologized multiple times but didn’t provide any explanation for the delays. We also had to order our drinks ourselves, and it took a while for the food to arrive. We thought we had plenty of time for coffee before heading to the cinema, but we ended up paying the bill as soon as the drinks arrived because we were concerned about the wait. Overall, it was a pleasant experience."

Fantastic family restaurant for my daughter's birthday. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent!

Despite having a reservation and noticing about seven empty tables, we were turned away and told to wait 40 minutes. They mentioned that they only had two cooks and were overwhelmed. The quality of service has noticeably declined in the past three months.

after booking a table well in advance, came in the restaurant to say we had no booking. we were then placed on a table and a waiter who cannot speak English or understand, took our beverage order. After we put the drink order, we waited in anticipation for it to arrive when the wee and the beer arrived, a beer was short. After we had waited, we had to go forward and ask for it. the waiter then became completely confused and brought more beer than he was asked anyway that was sorted. we order the spicy wings that are advertised with a blue cheese and of course say there are no blue cheese dive . the main meal seemed to go without problems. we had to constantly ask to remove the empty glasses...

"This pub has a beautiful summer garden and we enjoyed watching the variety of wild birds that flittered around. Whoever maintains the garden does so with pride and with knowledge of how to create a wonderful space. The same pride and knowledge is not represented...in our experience of the food. It took over an hour to receive a burnt fish chips and a fish burger that was a tiny bit of cheap fish cake. The fish cake tasted unsurprisingly dreadful, more potato than fish, a frozen bought in effort and was returned uneaten. After the hour's wait the kitchen was closed so no alternative was offered. The fish chips were supposed to come with creamed peas, but instead came with plain frozen peas. The claimed home made tartare sauce was out of a jar. The batter was dark brown and bitter and clearly over cooked to the point of being burnt. The chips were equally over cooked and dry. In our view the chips were frozen not fresh. The chef needs to take a leaf out of the gardeners book and take some pride at what leaves their workplace, as we left hungry and bitterly disappointed. That food should never have left the kitchen in the state it was and is hugely disrespectful to the customer. The service was friendly but slow. We weren't offered an apology nor were we asked how the fish chips were, despite them clearly being picked at and mostly left. The pub wasn't busy with perhaps 4/5 tables occupied by the time we left. This pub can clearly do better judging by the over positive reviews. It manifestly failed for us, on our first visit as locals."
