I highly recommend Frederick's for its truly excellent food and service. The set lunch menu offers incredible value for money with very generous savings. I first visited Frederick's in the early 80s and, after a long break due to work, I returned and was not disappointed. Highly recommended.

The restaurant has a bright and open atmosphere, especially enjoyable in the summer. I went for lunch this time and found the scallops to be good. The crab dish had too much fruit for my taste, which may have been my mistake for not reading the menu properly. They offer a nice selection of wines by the glass and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.
