"party of 6 for my birthday and my daughter 21st birthday. hostile greetings from matradee as we had brought our own cake. we were told that we had to pay first 2 pfunds per head for the restaurant to cut the cake, this was then increased after only one hour to 3 pfunds per head. all our ancestors never came together like the main thing and we had to ask for them. I had the steak sandwich that was cold and very overpriced for what was served. was not a good experience"

I came to be booked and wait for 5 minutes, as the chap at the restaurant desk completely ignored me. He finally recognized me and I was accompanied to a nice table finally sitting off the window. My starter (parfait) was cold and I couldn't spread anything on the toast. To another starter, everything was good. Our main courses, and the wine was all good and the service of our waitress was on site. I loved the ambience of the restaurant and will return.
