"This restaurant might be our favorite restaurant in all of Italy. We loved it so much, we went twice during our stay in Siena. The food is outstanding, not only from the homemade bread and complimentary beef tartar, but to the must have crispy egg with pecorino cheese foam, cocoa, mushroom and truffle. Even our kids loved it. The restaurant is breathtaking housed in a 1,000 year old building and the staff is friendly, welcoming and fun. We loved it so much, we ditched our kids one night and went back as a couple for a romantic date."

Lovely food and atmosphere although we felt rushed, we had 3 courses and were in and out in 75 minutes vs 2-3 hours in other restaurants. We were encouraged to have the house starter crispy egg with pecorino cheese foam, cocoa, mushroom, and truffle, delicious. Had we not felt so rushed we might have gone back again

I celebrated the wedding anniversary in this restaurant I've known for more than 20 years. definitely changed a lot over the years. .
